    Install first use app from preware, you will be able to create palm profile. If you dont have preware, install webosqi on your pc and put your phone in dev mode before connecting to pc. You will be able to install preware from webosqi.

    Yes Amitabh ji....apki baat mein dum hai. I don't think there's any role of Pakistan for these missed calls. This could be a reason due to Voip companies routing the calls as Amitabh ji mentioned above. VOIP calls within India are not allowed. For example a person (living in india) calling to india mobile number from skype is not allowed. All incoming calls coming to you must ultimately route through you mobile operator. The mobile operator does have voip gateways connected to other long distance operators across the world. If you want to trace the origin of these calls complaint to your operators with exact time. Also, somebody mentioned that he got call from Lithuania. Please never call back this number, these can be highly charged mobile audiotext numbers. I know about Lithuania but there are many more countries offering these codes.
  6. Who is using ICC's PPOWorld regularly? The one review in this thread is not that good. On contrary ICC's GEB sevice on ebay is very good.
  7. SNS service has slowed down. Now, they are taking on an average 3-4 days to process in US itself. I have shipments which had taken 3 days to show up in my account.

    In my opinion, Airtel is trying to earn from the sell of usb dongle. Have a look at the pricing of Verizon dongle (although with contract). On ebay it is available for 40-60 USD. http://network4g.verizonwireless.com/#!/devices/mobilebroadband/5632 They should subsidize the dongle rather than charging premium on it. In US smartphones are popular owing to contractual pricing. In India, all the premium smartphone are available in the range of 700-900 USD. If it was the case in US, there wont be so many takers there too. If any operator that has to bring the high end mobile computing for masses, they have to workout the cost of device. Govt policies are also not favourable. Why do we have so many operators? The low prices (driven by competition) are good to an extent but it dents the future development. Development comes at a cost.

    ^^^ You should retry sending message and confirm the upc code before initiating the request. If your UPC code is valid then you will receive same code.

    FD-LTE is operating at lower frequency, hence it will have wider coverage. Also the upload and download link are symmetric, as a result more suitable more telephony operations. TDLTE will have lower coverage (range). However, the upload and download link will be asymmetric, as a result more suitable for services like internet (which have burst in traffic periodically). TDD is cheaper to operate and will be efficient. However, due to limited range, it will not be used for telephony (voice) operations. FDD will be preferred by telcos over TDD due to its range. TDD will be preferred by data service providers.. Although, there is no full deployment of voice services on LTE. Currently, voice is carried over IP (VOIP).

    BWA spectrum was for 2.3 GHz frequency band. This is meant for LTE-TDD. LTE TDD will be preferable for data services. Wimax is abandoned across the world, even BSNL has surrendered their spectrum. LTE FDD will be preferable for telephony services. It is supported on 700 Mhz band. Currently, these bands are allocated to Doordarshan and AIR for tv broadcasting. DOT wants DD to surrender these bands, unless these happens there are very few bands available in this range.

  19. Problem is when you send SMS, you wont get 50 MB data for next 24 hours. You will get this data till the next day. So at midnight your promo balance will be 0.

This threads are latter turned into discussion of patches, apps, upgrades and problems with handset. Can't we have only one thread per handset? RAW can employ best guys in networking (even hackers are employed) and they have far superior infrastructure.
