Hi, I am planning to buy a new 6275, as I have problems with my 6255 and I can't wait 30+ days for Nokia to repair, if at all! I would like to know does the new 6275 support RConnect?? My guess is yes, but the webworld guys don't know and they are not sure. I have a DKU-2 cable now, (for 6255) it looks like I can use it as per the review here. Anyone here has used 6275 to connect to net and what is the speed? I don't want to wait 1-2 months for Reliance to start supporting RConnect on 6275. I can't believe Reliance webworlds have no 'information sheet' for this new product. Appreciate an early reply, jt

Hi, Thanks everyone for your help. I was able to connect to net by downloading the software from nokia-asia web site. I thought 6255 was slightly better when it comes to net connection speed, , but it is too early to conclude, IMO. (Nokia_Connectivity_Cable_Driver_rel_6_82_4_eng.msi Version 6.82.4.0 | 15-Nov-2006 | 645 KB | English) I have also installed the latest Nokia suite on my laptop. So far everything looks good. It takes a lot of time to charge fully (100%), but so far that hasn't been an issue for me. jt

hi, I went ahead and bought 6275 for Rs 11,750/- , as I can't wait two months for Nokia care... Making and receiving calls was available in less than 15 minutes, after the switchover. This is the good part But about RConnect I wasn't so lucky... As I didn't find any download software for 6275 from Reliance web site, I tried to access net through the DKU-2 cable and the software I had for 6255. No luck, no surprise at all... So, I went ahead and called Reliance helpdesk. Initially the rep didn't know 6275, he thought it should be 6265.... After wasting some time, I got hold of a technical rep. She wasn't sure of anything. She repeated I have to insert the CD and install it. I had to shout at her, for Christ's sake, I can't magically bring a CD with the required software... ((Why doesn't Reliance doesn't provide a CD, especially if it makes customers life any easy???)) Anyway, to cut it short, she said I should install the software available for 6255. I already have it. Then she suggested I should download the software for 6235 and that is where it stands now... I have 2 laptops, the old one doesn't have Bluetooth, so I tried to access using data cable as I already have a DKU2 cable. If all this looks silly, pl pardon me. I am not a technical person, my knowledge is rather very limited... jt P.S. - If 6235 doesn't work, I will try Nokia_Connectivity_Cable_Driver_rel_6_82_4_eng.msi software from nokia-asia web site and see what happens...
