i think it will be hard for RIM to control mobile phone software if its developed on series 60 platform. Hence they are just restricting to series 40 phone ! Cell operators should encourage nokia to put cdma antenna in 6630 and likes !

guys, pc suit provided at reliance web site is old. download latest pc suit from nokia web site its latest and also supports other GSM phones.

6255 has given me 3 hours of talk time with bluetooth headset on in single charge. well, i have to go with this phone because i needed bluetooth headset connectivity and no other reliance phone has this feature so i really didn't had any choice. overall, i personally feel this phone is worth 10k if its not buggy more then that its just looting but what else you can do when you don't have any choice ? also, i have sync it with my pc outlook and have tested other options through bluetooth (file transfer etc.) and all seems working fine. overall till this moment this phone is performing as it should.

well amit, i also have gsm 6630 and lg rd 2130 and have seen all other reliance models. this phone is ain't that bad if its not buggy !

hi guys, today i bought nokia 6255 for 11800/- here in bombay india from distributor (in reliance gallery its 13500/-). Phone appears to be working fine and i don't have any problems yet mentioned by other owners. I must say this is wonderful reliance phone (best in reliance) and it works fine with my jabra 250 bluetooth headset. i will update you guys with its report after 2-3 days. cheers!!!

after reading above stories i may drop my plan to buy 6255 which i was going to buy tomorrow

hi, the cables which are generally available in market do need you to install USB TO SERIAL converter because all LG phones require serial connection to computer hence you need some converter driver. -max

does it support jabra bluetooth headset ?

Can anyone share how is the RCONNECT performance with NOKIA PHONES ? I own LGRD2130 and it works perfect but i am planning to buy another connection also with NOKIA HANDSET. I will be using it primarily for internet surfing.

i am quite positive that rconnect must be there because they are supplying data cable kit with it. go rim go well i am on moonlight and they don't have any upgrade offer for me. also they have seperated kalyan ahead circle in maharashtra and bombay circle so anyone going out side kalyan (near bombay) will be charged roaming. this is bad.

Dunno abt TATA but my RD2030 acknowledges for FWP. 17993[/snapback] tata indicom. run like hell from them man run like hell. they send me 10k bill for no reason and instead of sending them 20 complains (i got complain ticket number) 6 faxes and 2 personal visits to galleries they havent correted my bill hence i have cancelled the phone but nobody has come to take away there damn box but they are still sending me bills. run away from tata indicom.

also vsnl do not charge for internet charges between 11:00pm to 7:00 am why not reliance also make this free for atleast FWP as they come in same category?

i took reliance FWP ONLY FOR INTERNET connection and now it seems since BSNL have reduced the tariff there is no use of FWP. time for me to switch to lowest plan if reliance did not match price of BSNL.

but one will be able to buy only handset for 6999 (Approx)? right ?

thanks for information guys. i was thinking about change my r-connect plan to bandwidth plan but now after reading all this i will not do so. i will also be looking for options to reliance mobile. anyway reliance billing s**ks. i will ovoid using them.

the redial function doesn't work because reliance network do not have proper signaling to its cell phone which tells cell phones that the number we are trying to call is busy, not reachable, not available, switched off, network busy etc. Redail only works when signal is week or reliance own network is busy. overall it s**ks because when i try calling my friends BSNL cell phone i have to redial atleast 20 times to get him

r****er, yes FWP is cheaper in night time specially for jerks like us who keep surfing net whole night

Bobby, With FWP you can surf internet for Rs.16 per hour in night time where as you will continue to pay Rs.24 with mobile. how about that
