My nos were taken in 2004,later on when they introduced simple 99 we enrolled for that plan and have been regular users with an average bill of Rs.1200 per number. Agreed they can hike call rates but what about relationship with the customers ? 8+ years on the network!!! They just send an sms in the last week of April saying from 1st May 2013 call rates would be 75 paise for local and 90 paise for std no mention of other charges.Good things do end and with the current inflation the price hike is justified but the way it was done was disappointing. I dont know why reliance hikes one plan and offers lower rates when threatened with a porting sms,its like they like dhamki waala hi talks. Unfortunately I got only the mnp plan in one number only will have to send the porting code again from the gsm number,will try to get the zero rental plan mentioned in this thread for it.

These plans were offered for one of my cdma and other gsm no, I could choose either plans. Winayakpai,reliance has no concern about its customer forget trai guidlines,We were into simple 99 where outgoing and incoming during roaming was 0.50 but suddenly may 2013 onwards the call rates were changed bill shot up 3 times,mails to cc and nodal officer had only one reply that the bills were according to tarrif and there can be no consideration of the bill amount from reliance.But they never replied to my question as to why the tarif was changed without my consent ? How does signing petition help ? The police cant sit and watch every move of the planner of acid attacks? Nor do they know who is going to be the next victim,Acid sales cannot be stopped and even if controlled cannot be guarantied that it wont fall in the hands of such planners. We sign petitions take out candle light marches and then we forget,a time may come when someone may develop an app so that we can keep a track of the issues we petitioned for or how many candle light marches we took. The need of the hours is to educate,we need to volunteer to educate men to respect women and this process should start at ground level and village level,we should take part in this.Just ask how many from the whatsapp forwarder will do this in realty.Its easy to forward but coming forward is tough Second and most important thing is to vote,during election we dont bother to see who is contesting,we either go for a holiday or sit at home watching TV or some movies on the polling day and again some gunda uneducated MP and MLA is elected. Agreed all the contestants are the same but we need to bring out the best out from the basket of bad apples. You and I can only change India,start with changing our politicians and convert all those forwards into actions.Petitions dont work in India,the current sets of politicians dont care what we feel or demand.

Nokia,Samsung Lg and such big brands have their own service centers whereas micromax,karbon,maxx etc mostly have outsourced their servicing.I know this because I know few mobile repairing shops suddenly putting ups boards or service center and their names included in the company's manuals. I think minor repairs are being done by them and major problems are sent to the company. My experiences with nokia has been very good,last year I had some network issue with my handset the standard trouble shooting was done on my handset cleaning and flashing the firmware etc,still I was not satisfied and they checked it again and sent it to their main office in Delhi after a week I recieved a new handset in lieu of my 8month old handset. Another time my mom's handset had some display issue and again this time also the display was replaced and handset given back the next day. So I would say branded handsets pays when it comes to service during warranty. My above experiences were in Mumbai.
