  3. Hi , The noob that i am, i am stuck with no data on my HTC EVO 4G. Previously i had a different number and had used 1x via the same. however, as of now, the handset is being used with my sister and so the MDN has changed. I understand that for 1x, un nd pw should be the MDN.(Kindly correct if i am wrong) However, my technical knowledge in programming does not allow me to do it.. I mailed the seller quite a few times but he is seemingly too busy for the same. i have cdma ws version 2.x i searched the forum but could not find something relevant.. kindly give link if there is an article on the same.. Looking forward to some helpful guidance to input the un n pw for 1x... As has been the tradition at RIMWEB:)

  6. Hi all... While searching for packs and plans for TATA DOCOMO CDMA, i realised it is a pain in the a##... The Docomo site is no good and Tata Indicom Website shows plans only for the Delhi Circle.. I chanced upon the latest plans and packs- voice and sms (data plans are already available online so not including them). Though these are for Gujarat Circle, i do not expect there to be much of a difference in other states... Hope it is useful...

  8. Hi I m facing a pretty weird situation. Or so do i feel. In this time of cut-throat competition amongst mobile service providers, companies are going the distance to port in new customers. customers coming thru MNP are offered extra freebies. But ALAS.... When i tried to port in from RELAINCE CDMA to TATA CDMA, the DOCOMO outlet is not even able to send my request for porting... They say even the message is not being sent from their mobile handset for porting into TATA CDMA... According to them, this problem has ben there since atleast a month and not even 1 customer has been able to port in to TATA CDMA in the last 1 month.... I am from VADODARA, GUJARAT. THE executives even tried to seek help from other stores in the city but all outlets in VADODARA are facing the same issue... Just wanted to ask has anyone ported into TATA CDMA off late? And if there could be some other way around??? Looking for some help/ guidance...
  9. The other stores admitted that not even one porting has been successful into TATA CDMA in the last 6 months In VADODARA....!!!!!! i myself saw about 20-25 pending applications at 1 store... If anyone has an idea, can a i get it applied from other city, like surat or ahmedabad??? or it has to be applied locally ONLY?
  10. @Hetal: Oh ...Dunno what they r messing up @Sagat: I generated the 8 digit code... but when the customer care executives (executive word sounds too godd for them frankly ) send the message from their handset, the message does not get sent.... So, i do not even get a confirmation on my number that my application for MNP has been initiated... @Saket: I believe u atleast got a message on ur GSM no. that the MNP request has been initiated??

  12. Hello evryone I do not know whom to particularly ask this question. But whoever has a viewpoint, Kindly oblige. I m using HTC EVO 3D. i DO NOT need high speed (EVDO) on my handset. 1x is enough fo me.. i just want to know if i port to TATA indicom postpaid/prepaid, will i be able to get 2gb of data in rs43??? as in mails, weather update, android market, watsapp n all? though i DO NOT require tethering, is it also available? Thanx.... Waiting eagerly for anyone to throw some light:) can i conclude that in Rs. 95 on prepaid in tata indicom cdma, i will get 1x speed on my HTC EVO 3D for 4.5 gb every month irrespective of my use,i.e., open anything on my mobile-market,mails,pushmail, weather update,browsing,fb,etc.... i will not tether it (use as modem).... a helpful reply is solicited:)

    ^^^ actually first i posted in d review for HTC EVO 3D but then realised if i need help then should start a new thread... apologies... n the issue i faced was that at a distance where 3 phones(EVO 4G, Samsung Corby 2 and Samsung Star 2) were detecting wifi signals , HTC EVO 3D was not!!! after coming klose to the router it was detecting signals and working properly... i wanted help if my EVO 3D would also detect signals at the distance where other 3 phones could... if there could b some tweak or software for the same...

    i observed something unexpected on my evo 3d... my handset was not catching wifi signals which were detected by HTC EVO 4G!!! I thot evo 3D was the SUCCESSOR The REAL SHOCKER: wifi signals were even detected by sub 6k phones like samsung corby2 and samsung star 2!!!!!!!! wen i went closer to the router, signal was caught by my EVO 3D...but.... any troubleshooting or advice shall be highly welcome...

Hi I have an unrooted HTC EVO 4G the problem i m facing is that the gmail id that i used to activate the android market on d device needs to be changed.. that cannot be done widout rooting or doing a master reset. so juz wanted to know what all data would b deleted? contacts n settings i noe will b erased.. MY MAIN CONCERN IS IF IT WUD ALSO ALTER THE PROGAMMING ON THE PHONE(PRL OR EVDO OR MIN etc..) HELP WUD B REALLY APPRECIATED..THANXX

BREATHER.......... was thinking of almost switching to gsm for want of data plan... nice...juz hope it comes in prepaid soonr than later... also that evdo speed are not really impressive:( now with such plans, users will rise and speed will further reduce... but REALLY SATISFIED......   20. people draw heart from the fact that atleast u r getting 50 mb also in 5Rs... seriously... about 2 months ago the 5Rs.plan totally stopped wrking for me in gujarat. the message reads "Dear Subscriber, your request could not be processed. Please try again. We regret the inconvenience.Reliance" i used to send "Act net 50" to 53739... but now...... if any 1 /mods/gurus have any info to share, shall be thankful.... 1 plan mushkil se mila tha ab wo bhi nai chaltaa...
  21. well i tell u what.. it happened wid me too. and there can be n number of reasons for that. i ll tell u what worked for me. i was using rim prepaid. what i did not notice was that the balance i had was some kind of promotional talktime which was stopping me from sending messages. what worked for me? I DID A RECHARGE OF 10Rs.(or any other denomination for that matter which gives u CORE talktime) IT GAVE ME A "CORE" BALANCE OF 6Rs. and voilaaaaaaaaaaa i was able to send messages:) try if it works for u....
  22. Ya..same here...other evdo or 1x data plans are not at all value for money and this process aint working since d last few days:(plz if any1 has a better plan dan 200mb for rs100, kindly tell....m even willing to pay premium for a hacked plan...

  24. yeah could not agree more...i faced the same issue with verbatim micro sd card 4gb..got faulty in 8 months ..had to courier to mumbai...got a replacement though...
