  4. Yes I recollect. Even I had same charger issue with Samsung. They replaced it within five minutes. Yes five minutes. Btw there was no waiting line or queue. Got lucky

    For evdo yes u will have to give request again as meid on which mdn us being used has changed.
  7. Only thing being nothing mentioned about RAM. So would be safe to assume that it has 256 mb. Internal memory and screen are great. Plus processor too is a qualcomm.

    Need a battery for Dell inspiron model n5110. With so many oem sellers online and on eBay very confused as to which one to buy. Need good quality. Budget 1500-1800. Hope this range should suffice. Kindly share if anyone has a good experience of buying battery online for laptops.

    If gsm probably Pantech burst is your best bet. Performance is simply great. And price too. Rest Motorola photon is also good with a better camera and bigger display. But performance would be better in burst. Photon will support both gsm and cdma(with programming)

    In my lucky experience. I ported one rcdma number to reliance gsm. And surprisingly evdo worked for about two months on my HTC evo 4G without any mdn. I guess lucky me

    I was on jb on axiom. Flashed stock ics two three times via odin. The phone never booted past Samsung logo. Had to flash jb again to make the mobile live and running. So I would be really interested if someone could throw some light as to how to go back to ics from jb on the axiom.
  14. All burgundy eveready etc.. Chinese Power banks do not deliver what they promise. If they promise 6000mAh they are not able to charge a 2000 mAh phone even twice properly. However there is a nokia power bank in about Rs1200-1500 that really delivers and the best part is that even after 30 days of non usage 75% of juice is still left. Do check it out. Probably available on eBay infibeam or indiaplaza

    The actual scenario now assuming a CIF(cash insurance freight) value of 100 in my knowledge and understanding is: Landing charges 1% (101) Basic duty 1% (102.01) Cvd(excise) 6% (108.13) Cess 3% (108.34) Totalling to 8.34% Earlier it was Landing charges 1% (101) Basic duty 1% (102.01) Cvd(excise)1% (103.03) Cess 3% (103.09) Totalling to 3.09%

    Implication is same.. That is if d mobile is imported or manufactured in India, excise duty will be levied at 6%..

  22. if meid is registered then u just need to go to a webworld with ur meid and the rcom cdma number u have to use on the handset. U have to give request to retain mdn and the number shall be transferred from the ruim to the handset whose meid is registered. No extra charges to be paid to the registrar for the same.

    reliance cannot control if the user is using 1x or evdo. So the ww is right in this regard as far as my knowledge goes.

    Wow Hetal Bhai. Great news. Reliance has now really made data pack affordable. 2gb evdo for 199 is good. Just hope they do not compromise on their cdma network. One question though. How can we use ussd. It says yes for ussd. Any pointers?
