    Root ur phone, install system app mover and convert stock WiFi app into data app. Then uninstall it. Download a WiFi tether app from market and u r good to go with tether. Have checked this and it's working on razr and one x Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2

    Custom duty has increased from 2% to 8%. So its a huge diff. I recently got nexus 4 n the cost is killing. God knows chidduji had in his mind that he increased the duties so such an extent. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2

    AT&T One X aka Evita has got JB update on 8th of this month. It will still take time as it will be in a phase and will be a week for all users to get access to it. Sor far not success on OTA for my handset. There is a rooted, deodexed version on xda for this update, u can unlock bootloader-root and flash it. rather than going to this update, the benefit of this is that u can roll back to ICS stock and have not issues if u r already rooted/unlocked bootloader

    Rajanbhai,he says he has s-on...but also has cwm? as per my knowledge its not possible to have cwm unless u unlock the bootloader which means s-off. sanju_barc, r u talking about stock recovery or cwm in OP?

    That certainly seems positive, but with his statement "We've inherited 18 months of pipeline that we actually have to drain right now, while we're actually building the next wave of innovation and product lines" speaks a lot about the churn they are planning. it obviously means less focus on current devices and the "new wave of innovation" will be at the cost of devices currently in the market or coming up in next 6 months. Even since i used Photon, m a moto-fanboy but this certainly is no good news. Moto has also ditched a few handsets in giving upgrades and this surely shows there is a problem deep inside either with the fragmentation or the handsets lined up to be treated with priority

    if ur phone is only rooted, then use vodoo root keeper from market to temp unroot and reroot thru the same app after update. This shud help and solve ur purpose.This link also can help to unroot http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1343114 If ur bootloader is also unlocked ie S-Off, then try doing RUU (which is flashing the stock image from android stock recovery in htc phone). After that u need to take otas as they are available and u shud be fine.
  17. do this, tools-email accounts-next-change-more settings-connection and tick the connect to my mailbox using http. This happens coz u wud be using ur outlook over lan in ur office and when u move out of office it connects over http. when u go back to ur office lan, just untick it and it shud solve ur problem
  18. Most of us have been using cellphones imported from US. The Librarian of Congress had made unlocking of cell phones (bootloader & unlocking for gsm phones) illegal from 26th Jan under DMCA. Whitehouse has put up a page for signing petition to make it legal again and had set the benchmark figure of min 100000 petitions from 5000 earlier.     u need to revert to complete stock to overcome this issue. if u r unable to get through the spc code then flashing from sbf method shud get u back to complete stock settings. There is froyo sbf available on net, use rsd lite to flash it in bootloader mode. but u will have to reprogramm ur handset after doing this.

  24. Hi! Friends, A frn of mine has got iphone 4s locked to tmobile as gift. Its been lying at his place since months as he is trying to figure out unlocking service. We all know US unlocking was very simple and cheap then but UK Tmobile unlocking is pretty tough. Have found a few ppl on ebay charging close to 10k for unlocking the tmobile phone. need help to understand if there is any other way to factory unlock the cell phone. Its on IOS 5 BB 4.1.1. Help needed.....
