I just spoke to my contact in local webworld in Kochi. He too confirmed that all RCDMA subscribers are automatically being switched over to 4G GSM from 01 May 16. He also said that RJIO launch is expected next month but things will be more clear in a week

In my case, I am using BSNL along with RCDMA. I am able to get 3G data on the BSNL SIM but not on the RCDMA connection. CDMA voice and SMS is still working though.

Ok, this is really strange. I received the Honor Holly 2plus today. I found that my RECRUC06 SIM works on the Holly2 for voice and SMS only. No data. I then used another older SIM in the Holly and found that EVDO data worked perfectly. I then put that SIM into the MI3 and lo behold, EVDO data worked. Now it gets really strange; I removed the old SIM and put the new RECRUC SIM in the MI3 and again data worked . I restarted the phone but since then am unable to get data back on

BTW, I am not sure if the SIM has EVDO activated although I did receive the SMS from RCOM that it has been activated. I should be receiving Honor Holly2 plus tomorrow. I will test the same SIM in that phone and update here.

Where in the settings do I set the network manually?

Hello All, My Gold Note 3 was delivered yesterday. I got a new OMH RECRUC series SIM for it and after activating the SIM in my ZTE N818, Voice and SMS are working fine, but I am unable to get Data working. I have tried setting the APN manually and rebooting but Data is not connected. I sent HSD SMS to 55444 and got reply SMS that EVDO is activated but still not working on Note 3. Does anyone here have any suggestions?

Does the marathon M5 Lite support RCDMA?

I too got the OTA update but after doing the update have lost calls and data. I did the programming once again and now on *228, I get " your phone is already registered" but when trying to make calls, it automatically gets cut. If I try to call the number form another phone, I get "switched Off" message. I think A-Key is not getting written in DFS any solution?

If you have saved the MIN, you can write the MIN and MDN again to the phone using DFS. that will get it working again with the same number as before

I am looking to get my Dad a laptop with internet access and I have found the Rs 94/- for 1GB for 6 months plan from RCOM to be the cheapest option. Any suggestions for a suitable evdo dongle to utilize this? Also, any other suggestions also welcome for alternatives. Happy New Year 2013 to all
