My old Nokia 6600 was having the software problem of freezing. I almost did a street fight with Nokia Customer Care peole before getting a replacement after 2 months! They simply kept my phone for 2 months without doing anything. I am really frustrated with Nokia phones. My SE Z600 even after abusive uses for the past two years still not cracking; not even a software bug. I think Nokia is nothing but Microsoft for software. Coming out with buggy products (I also have N90 with me which is having constent software problems) , make customers to pay and trying the beta with customers . my sister got a replacement(3125) for having a software bug and it also had a damage on screen but it took 1 month

If u had a software bug u could have got it replaced, so try n get a software bug.

These features are already present in nokia 6255, u can restrict incoming as well as outging(either all or selected numbers), and even u can assign numbers to groups such as family, vip, friends, other, .. wht more do u want

It's a good move form reliance, this'll compell BSNL to bring down rental or offer same kind of offer.

Installing application using mobimb is a bit risky since it gets hanged while installing and this could cause no more installation or usage of applications like i have done with mine so please don't try. I've already posted about this topic. Till now i've not been able to solve this, only could solve is replacement. I'm not sure about the time taken for replacement so i've kept it as it is.

A request to 6255 users PLEASE DO NOT USE mobimb to install applications, i installed a game and messed up with my mobile. It restarts when i try to open the collections folder now i'm not able to delete the application which i installed. Will try to find the solution for this without getting the phone replaced.

I'm still not able to install applications using registered mobimb ver 2.5, if any one has a working one please mail to radeon_m@yahoo.com. I have one more problem i'm not able to send or receive special characters like £ Á Ì Í È É by sms, i think it's disabled by nokia.

I'm able to browse my mobile, change wallpapers, ringtones etc.. but when i try to install application it shows no compatible phones detected(screen shot attached) also my phone is not highlighted, i even tried with microsoft and ivt bluesoleil drivers. In case of mobimb i'm not able to configure the correct port i tried all ports.

hello everyone, could any one tell the procedure to install application on 6255 i've tried all versions of mobimb 2.2, 2.5, 3 and even latest nokia pc suite 6.6.18 nothing seems to be working. I use bluetooth to connect.
