well i am pretty choosy , i dont like messups upfront and thats the one thing i do as soon as i install a ROM , u are right it can be selected later , but i never needed to do that , any crap happen ing even during the setup of a ROM is a big NO GO for me., tried the FI27 stock it was great but that one thing kept playing on me and i ultimately moved down. donno thats why never ran any custom FI27 for more than a few minutes. I love my heavily modded clen blue with FI27 radio and kernel , have done my own tweaking and debloating after using placebo , and bare rom scripts thats me i have linked here 0.2 purely coz its better among all fi27 ones with a choice of themes

@ Silver no you cant its totally stock and odexed the rom has to be deodexed for that use it for 3 days i have used Tersus, its decent but i hate the annoying issue of not being able to select the google services i want to sync when i add a gmail account, its the general issue in FI27 I have 8 google accounts and need all of them so 8 acc all syncing at the same time with all google services , kicks the hell out of the battery

@ amit this is the MD5 of the file 84ca9ce88751e268c4954c6a08a52fed always confirm the md5 of the file before flashing and yes you can flash the FI03 no data file like before. if you want i ll upload the tar to mediafire in 100MB split rars. FI27 aint final as yet, once its done we ll try out some more options. but must say To me Clean Blue seemed the best

and TBH i dont watch videos on phones or even listen to music. for that my iTouch is unbeatable and with jabra earphones , the experience has become more splendid.

well KD , its all about personal preference. i used photon 2 months back just for 5 days the build qulaity is impeccable, nothing can beat MOTO , no matter what. the screen resolution is great and the display quality is refreshing at least i found it very refreshing , the whites are so pure whites on it, compare it with epic touch and you ll know , I agree about the camera , and the pictures taken from it, but you need to do some tweaking , all i can say FASCINATES 5MP camera is way way superior than that of photon or epic touch , when u look at the snaps on the phone. the thing is all 8MP camera snaps will look lamish on screen if the native resolution isnt correspondingly good of the display. I feel epic touch' snaps are not that great looking either if looked upon in the phone. About MoPho , i can say the interface is so snappy despite being GB and , the blur interface is cool ( again for me ) only missed the drop down menu toggles , but i made up with switch pro and notification toggles app. everything about Photon is refreshing for me see real diff in screen can be notriced only on full brightnes, diff b/w epic T an photon being that on Epic T , the screen remains smooth and in Photon you can see very very fine dots but i love that matte finish ;P te photon doesnt leave the signals at all , whereas all other handsets lose the gsm or cdma signals so very often. Photon feels so freaking solid in hand, its octagonal desin is something attractive for me . the toughend screen , and gorilla glas makes it so awesome looking. all in all , it was my dream to own a Photon , coz its colors are so natural and so soothing unlike epic touch.

No mate , not possible , it aint got the chip to run . you can download fm apps which use data to stream fm stations , but nothing which can make the phone run a FM radio. I must sat having a FM radio on ur phone is always helpful , I am happy that my just bought PHOTON has a FM radio in it am loving the PHOTON

Well guyz Yours truly is riding on two boats now OFFICIALLY I have just acquired a Moto Photon ( again ) and using it on Vodafone Delhi GSM network btw am on 2.3.4 and as soon as i received i rooted it and deleted the updater apk;), debloated the Stock Roma bit , removed all sprint crap. and boy , i am happy again , loved the Photon the last time when i had used it , had to return for some forgettable reason , and couldnt forget The white of photon and the screen quality is just outstanding . will be making a separate thread about it soon .

Great News Guyz Just got updated that there will be an Awesome OTA in FI27 ( as i told earlier ) BUT.... The best part is ... guess what... The EMMC brick bug in epic Touch has finally been deleted and fixed by samsung from the FI27 kernel so no more bricking now. i am very happy with this news , I think i can shaare a few more Roms here just out of sheer happiness no matter if there is 0 download

@ Silver : which kernel you have ? if you have agats kernel with 2.2 green recovery then you can use calk's script to wipe all , and then immediately in the same session flash the galaxy or cleanblue whichever you were on @amit : I couldnt get , what you are referring to , all i can say use Fi03 stock riooted odin to go back to stock

give it two or three charging cycles it will settle. yes : you can flash the extended toggles , but it will change the status bar icons to those that were in galaxy rom but it will work flawlessly

Amit : use the rom for 2 or 3 days and see how it shapes upupdate me about how snappy it is also i am trying to figure out how many people are using these , i mean if there is any use going to such lengths when there are only a couple of people using these.To them i can always provide the updates via email or PM personally .so plz add a reply confirming if you are using these ROMs. EDIT : ok just checked the downloads in my MF folder Galaxy Rom was downloaded 12 times and Clean blue just twice. pretty evident that there are no takers. @all please be cautious Never use factory reset in settings Or data wipe in recovery Even if you are on a safe kernel and safe recovery On ICS just use calkulins format all zip. Btw the next OTA from Sprint will be FI27 many bug fixes and likely to be final after that the bean hunting will start and i just cant wait for it

@ silver : thats a first : i have flashed my fassy as well as epic numerous times now , havent seen nything like that TBH if you ll ask me i ll say go ahead based on my experience but would actually suggest you to wait and watch and then give it a go btw how did u restore , that may give an idea of what might have happened. also what made you losr 3G ? was it odining to \fi03 or flashing zip of galaxy regards
