well its pretty simple just backup all ur apps and data simply ODIN the EH03 ROM you ll become one of us ur boot and shutdown will show verizon and you might as well see $ instead of Rs in market as the price of apps and yes you ll need to be on EH03 first to try out any GB roms

also before odining the tar , download SUPER BACKUP from market and backup your contacts and sms note down the min number ( although it wont be required as upon gactory reset you ll be back to stock ) once done just download odin put phone in download mode and flash this tar with PDA option plz be advised use PDA option only and double check your data cable , bettr would be to use a new one . post here and pm me as well , as i am kinna busy these days . regards

Hey there all !!! well there has been no queries and activities out here since past 15 days if anyone is interested i would like to share another great ROM , KERNEL and RECOVERY combo which i have been using from past 20 days or so . will make a post if any one is interested. also there have been a few ISC roms out as well , which are all ports , they have issues here and there so am not posting em atm , once i ll find a pretty stable combo , i ll try and update . regards

@ rahujas : as far as my knowledge goes trickle charge is a kernel related feature atm as far as Fascinate is concerned ( i amy be wrong though ) If you have flashed KGB kernel with trickle charge then thats what is causing this if not then i suggest you ODIN the stock EH03 and flash resurrection over it , should solve the issue or easy way would be to flash a custom kernel . regards

its been mentioned on page 1 mate just first flash (thru odin) the red recovery - before that store the full 0.5 ROM in ur SD card once you odin the red recovery , boot ur phone in recovery ( by vol up + vol down + power button ) wipe data ( always a good option but you can leave it as well , this way u will keep ur contacts sms and apps, if the ROM in the end acts up you can format the dats via recovery again ) , wipw cache partition , and wip dalvik cache after that go to option of flash zip from SD card and flash your 0.5. once done reboot have fun If there are any queries then plz dont PM , post here instead so that other can help and helped as well

Well first Up EH03 has a great radio the audio being low issue was there in EI20 and Eh09 but certainly not in EH03 if still u have issue then whenever i ll have some free time i ll upload the Ec09 radio which you can flash and see if it chnages anything byt i am 100% sure it aint Eh03 there have been absolutely no issues in EH03 Stock , at all if you can believe me then EH03 update is the reason why i am still sticking to my fassy , otherwise would have purchased Sprint Epic Touch s2 3 months back use the fassy with stock or SC or resurrection and see the snappiness

well i have used Superclean as well as TSM resurrection both , both are equally good , difference being resurrection is more fancier than SC , got the awesome TSM parts , a bit of theming which looks great and certain other tweaks and stuff. Superclean is more stocky but totally optimized I feel my fassy likes the SC 0.5 better than resurrection , and the backup is also great in SC as compared to resurrection ( its just wrt my fascinate ) I suggest if you are on stock then backup your data and apps , wipe all three ( data , cache and dalvik ) and then flash the SC0.5 give it like a week to settle then only you can find out how well its performing as far as battery backup is concerned. ONE IMPORTANT THING : For all the Touchwiz users on fascinate Plz do reboot ur phone atleast once a day , so that it can work efficiently as TW interface tend sto kill the RAM randomly over a period of time making lags a regular feature ( even on highly optimized ROMs as well )

As i understand you are now on EH03 rom. When you long press the power button you get options to silent mode, airplane mode, power off, reboot, recovery or download mode. Here just select the recovery mode it will take you to recovery mode and you will be able to flash the rom. hi Sliver, when I am pressing the power button, it shows only 3 options..... silent mode, airplane mode, power off. what u have said the other two option is not coming reboot & the recovery or download mode. then I tryout the above Joshm's method..... switch off press volup + vol down + power button together it shows... Android system recovery <3e> Enter : ok key, select : vol up / vol down reboot system now apply update from sd card wipe data/fatory reset wipe cache partition dear as i can understand you are on EH03 Stock and i strongly recommend you not to experiment anymore the stock performed extremely well for me , so much so that i didnt want to update my ROM at all , but some custom features and to remove the random lags here and there i switched. and as i can see you are not that well versed with flashing and all , i suggest use the Stock for a while and keep reading this thread , once u are sure that you have learnt it all then go ahead and flash the resurrection or SC we dont want any bricked phones plz .. regards

yes it means if you are on any of my recent posts like EH03 stock or Superclean then you are good to go CWM means recovery > here the custom red recovery that i havce mentioned in the OP just backup all data and apps > store the TSMresurrection and gapps package on ur SD card switch off press volup + vol down + power button together and u ll be in recover wipe all 3 flsah the rom first boot up shudown go in CWM again and flash the gapps peace

I am so sorry guyz have been just buzy as hell umm.. i guess i forgot to ask you to hit read as soon as you enter the com port number in cdma workshop that actually show the phone info and settings

all you need to do is open cdma workshop plug in the cabe to phone chk which port it is connecetd by going in device manager of windows then select the same pot number in cdma workshop > Main > COM settings > hit read in the bottom The Phone settings will be displayed in CDMA workshop go to SECURITY > SPC > enter 000000 in the spce below the default_nv > hit SPC button - this will unlock the phone a then go to NAM settings > in DIR_NUMBER option > add your phone number > and reboot phone u ll be good to go

i am so sorry for the late reply, have been busy as hellok it seems that you ll have to add your mdn or phone number in the dir option of your phone's settings after accessing the phone via PC thru cdma workshop

also try and stick to the stock EH03 first and see how your phone behaves

see fascinate is a type of i500 which is made by samsung for verizon network in US , its a CDMA handset If urs in CDMA and i500 then you should be good to go with the above rooting and flashing methods that i have outlined plz note down ur MIN number mentioned in the settings > about menu , in case you mess up something by and large the process of rooting and updating ram is safe STILL IF ANYTHING GET MESSED DONT BLAME ME

umm.. why do you want to go to froyo when we have the official Gingerbread for fascinate aka i500 there are way too much improvements in GB than FROYO , just do as Rajen has suggested and you ll be fine with it. forget about Kies
