Gsm radio finally unlocked for droid razr,droid 4 and razr maxx(havent tested maxx yet) Now these A-list phones are truly global. why wait for verizon to release there global rom when we can do it right now. 1.Data-Working over edge 2.Messaging-Working 3.Calling-Working without any issues 4.USSD-Not Working 5.Cdma Omh-Havent Tested yet though it should work will try it and update here So how we do it step-1 root your phone with motofail step-2 install bootstrap recovery step-3 download this zip file and put it into the root of your memory card step-4 boot into recovery and install the zip manually step-5 put your micro sim in the sim card slot and resatrt in few seconds it will recognise it and will start showing network bars step-6 manually enter apn setting for data tweak a little bit according to your need and you have a working gsm phone in your hand will update soon about cdma omh possibilities Using droid 4 since 2 days and its working flawlessly. If you face any difficulties doing it post here i will try to resolve it. more updates and tweaks coming soon. p.s -Dont blame me if you have a sleek brick in your hand if somehow it fails Thanks xda for giving us new possibilities LINK- 44 replies

You will get a used RE for 80k maybe even less if u go for 3-4 yrs used thunderbird. best would be get a Electra as it has the best thump And if u never had a RE before don't go for old bullets as they are nice to ride but difficult to maintain.

put your micro sd card in a jacket(usually it comes in box with indian phones) and turn off the lock in jacket it will be fine it is also called micro sd to sd card adapter

this solution is to fix the proximity sensor which goes bad sometimes and even after the call the screen stays black until the person on line cuts the phone or if you press the power button this happens due to dirt and dust accumulating over sensor. so to check if your sensor is working properly do the below test to check sensor dial *#0*# and select sensors(tested on note 2,s4,note 3) when u put your hand on proximity sensor screen turns green with vibration and when u lift your hand it turns back to white but if it doesnt turn white after removing hand that means the sensor has a problem so we lower the value at which the sensor responds note :-you need to be rooted to follow this procedure open cmd and change to your adb folder and type the following command adb shell (you will get a notification on your phone screen accept it) su (give root privilege in phone) echo 0 > /sys/devices/virtual/sensors/proximity_sensor/prox_cal echo 1 > /sys/devices/virtual/sensors/proximity_sensor/prox_cal NOW cat state # put your finger on the sensor and check the value (my came 255) now remove your finger from sensor (it came 51) cat state # This returned 255 #finger on the sensor and 51 #blank value and then do cat /sys/devices/virtual/sensors/proximity_sensor/prox_cal this returned 0,60 45.....so my offset was 0. Ths sum of offset and #blank value was 0 + 51 = 51 that is equal to 33 in HEX. so i increased to 55 and hex value 37 then echo -en $'\x37' > /efs/prox_cal the value 37 will change according to your phone do the above math chown system:system /efs/prox_cal chmod 644 /efs/prox_cal sync reboot now the sensor is working you can check again by dialing *#0*# and do the test again

Did u try doing a factory reset from recovery? Google for how to enter recovery in xperia dual and in recovery do a factory reset see if that works

This method works , that's why it is posted here !!Sent by Moto G on Reliance CDMA Didn't work for me I tried flashing nae rom through recovery after flashing mk2 stock rom and philz recovery But it fails. Gsm unlock is possible though in mk2 or mja 4.3 -

U can always use titanium backup and use multiple data profiles for different number have been using this since 2yrs only problem is u have to switch profiles to get different Whatsapp profiles and msgs. For IOS u can use application duplication if u r jail broken if any body needs more info will post detailed tutorial. -

Just saw the image I guess try sbf ing with rsd lite. Because once the battery goes down you have to either take the battery out and charge directly or use Motorola factory cable to turn on the phone to do anything.

Root will be lost(you can re root) cdma programming will be intact. Take backup from recovery so you can always revert back if any errors while flashing rom. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
