many a time, drive does not assign a drive letter itself especially portable.. try to see if you can see it in disk management. if its there assign drive letter. my seagate expansion faced same problm,

Hello, Few days ago on xda some users successfully SOFF there phone, and slapped HTC, for there crap bootloader unlocking, I tried it and its working. This will work on hboot 1.15 or even 1.19 latest OTA updated HBOOT. Main there on XDA, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1932914 Step by step guide :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32761598&postcount=107 Prerequirement :- HTCDev unlock OR a temp root method. Install TWRP 2.2.2.0 recovery. Actually it doesnt matter you are on which rom, but you need to be on sense rom any version stock rooted or unrooted. I tried with viper rom it works. This method needs ubuntu 12.0 or any other linux variant. 32 bit specifically. 64 bit need some packages(550mb) to run adb and fastboot. you can grab ubuntu and install it easily inside windows, and also unistall it later. In short how its works :- We will intensionally brick our phone so that we can go in QC mode by flashing defected block once its get bricked. We will flash old hboot 1.12 and then can do soff with lazy panda (as for now lazy panda only works with hboot 1.12) please follow the step by step instructions on the above thread, If anyone got stuck, I am here to Help Once you got hboot 1.12. you can run feedpanda. I was on viperrom 2.0.2, feedpanda gives me success. I run it from linux. No need to go 1.13. First, i tried from windows, but i got bricked. then i run evo4g lte unbricker. I got sucess on linux on 2.13 hurray. I can see feedpanda need hboot 1.12 and rooted, for linux. 100% tested i tried it two times and got sucess. I guide it not noob friendly though. But It can be achieved and there is always a risk you can bricked your ph permanently. Though its a rare case.

Hello sadanand, I too resides on ambernath. I am using evdo from last 1 and half year in ambernath. I havent faced any major issue. But from one month, there is bit an evdo problem in ambernath. Its regularly switching to 1x. Right now also its on 1x. Before on day time i was easily getting 1mbps and in night more then 2mbps. Just wait for few days. It will get resolved i have no idea where yoh live. Some places in amb hav strong coverage. Stn side, mohan jyot, shaka. Easy get 1mb or more anytime. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

Hello, I am using lte. I must say for evdo lte is best. Radios of htc is much better then samsung. In my home i use to get an average of 512kbps in day time on samsung. Same as in htc its more then 1 mb. Also compared same side by side. As per battery is concern, It has quite a good battery. I travel daily from my place to south mumbai. 60km. It takes 2 hrs to reach my office. All the time screen is on. Background data on. Max payne played all the time full brightness battery on reaching office 60% battery remaining. Watch 1080p videos all the time full brightness. 58% Downloaded 560 mb videos frm my place network switches many time frm 1x to evdo. After reaching to office it was 50% Very impressive i have tried same on epic fascinate. Battery backup is best. I m on custom rom viper 4g. S3 for sure will hav best battery. Only con is unremovable battery. Btw, its easy to do hard reset, just holding by power button couple of second. it is same like pulling out battery. Also it got watchdog timer feature in case someting got wrong. It get restarted. Ips lcd is really cool, it is as good as super amoled. Brightness is more thn epic.Everything look quite natural. Super amoled seem to have over contrast. Though every phone has thr con n pros. Btw, samsung s3 used pentile matrix display same as in photon. Some user might not loved it. Reliance hav static ip. my ip is blacklisted my many servers. @kmc251: you need to really take care of your laptop. try running combofix. its a small nice tool. antivirus, firewall will help you. spf, doesnt work. sending mails from anyone id to anyone id is simple. advance users mail know this. even gmail, yahoo dont detect that if your ip is not listed in spam list.. This two are gaint. In both my mail was recieved in inbox. may be they have some filtering by ip. btw, they have special filtering with some big domain", @facebook.com,". you cant send like admin @ facebook dot com mails.

I found that i am getiing low ping rate between 75 to 90ms. same i used on my galaxy s fascinate it was 150 to 200ms I also found speed in my location in day time about 512 to 768kbps and in night 1 mbps average on fascinate on evo 4g lte day time it on average 1mbps and on night its more then 2mbps I also found external speaker volume is too low? and i even find cracking sound in some songs. ?? i found meid of evo lte is bit diff 9900xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx its all numeric, any problem is faced while registration?

It is something ghost touching, I too faced this long back when i was having evo 3d. nothing to do with software part. I also tried all software from hboot 1.30 to 1.50 but got no sucess.Sometimes it use to work without problem. but after couple of days, i face same problem. you can check it by some draw line apps. just draw circular line. round round and round, and see. just see the following video. Some people fixed this by disabling multitouch. There is one tool in market for samsung galaxy s, dont remember the name. you can search by galaxy s in market. I tried that tool too, but it doent work for me. Lastly its an digitizer problem. LOL. I pissed my lcd while changing my digitizer. I tried myself. but, still i have courage got an lcd and digitizer again changed it myself and sold my evo 3d. btw, i have 2 spared digitizer extra. I bought for my evo 3d.
