cracking shot. how to access BIN ? i tried with BitPim and QPST. both are giving me the file system access but not to BIN. is it hidden somewhere ? or i need to use some other software ? tia.

recently i'd been to LG service center to enquire about version upgrade. the receptionist told me that its free irrespective of the warrenty but there is not guarantee that the handset will usable after operation. she added that that there are 2% chances that the handset goes dead. * is this true ? * shall i go for version upgrade ? * currently i'm running R23REL08 PRL : 1. which is the latest version available ? * what are the additional features available in the latest version ? * can we do it by using Bitpim/QPST ? tia.

hello, this is my very fist day @ this forrum and also to PC sync. I carry LG RD2030. can anybody explain me a very step by step guide to connect with my PC ? if would be very much helpful if you mention the name & version (+link to download, if possible) of the softwares to be used ? after following some posts, i tried with BitPim & QPST but failed to get connect. thanx a lot.

#1. am using USB data cable. #2. i tried to connect with BitPim & QPST. #3. i also found one link on this forrum which let me upload & download only the phonebook on PC. but i want much more info.
