i purchased airtel locked huwai B310s 927 in olx for Rs. 900 and unlocked. Now it is accepting all the 4g sims of india (idea, airtel, JIO, and Rcom4g) and also all 3g sims. Except with JIO sim all other sims working not only data and voice also (landline phone can be attached to this router) Jio working with data only. It is covering Nearly 100 feet area (through Wifi). This may be moved to appropriate Thread.

Take it granted from me. Purchase any country iPhone 6, 6 +, 6s, 6s+ or SE. you will get all the 3 LTE bands of india. i.e. band 3, 18 and 40

JIO is aggressive in giving its sims. I think it may not be wonder, if they give sims to every person, who have 4g phone or not? with a preview offer of 90days. Their plan is people must be used to taste the godspeed for 3 months. Once commercial launch is done. the persons who are using preview may not stop. That is their plan. In india, the especially We people will go with mad when it is free. ( I saw one lady purchased item of Rs. 10k when they offered 10RS spoon as free) The strategy of JIO is taste the speed of 4g and other services of jio play. They need not convince the people about their quality of service while selling their product.

I am on Zero plan with 16999/- for 2 years. (5 sims) after conversion to 4g, i got message that, limit of data is 20gb. I got issued legal notice to the company. But strangely they are not charging though it is more than 20gb consumption on one sim held by my son. (other sims users are not heavy users)

From Tomorrow onwards. MNP is going to be started with JIO, only selected persons/companies. Those who opting MNP will be ported to JIO with unlimited preview for 90 days without any phone. Just now got the info from one of the JIO employee. Will confirm after seeing the internal circular, who are eligible to MNP. Initially, all the JIO employee sims (their personal sims of different networks) are eligible. This is confirmed.

no need to purchase any phone. you are going get sim for free. use it for 90 days in any phone of your choice with unlimited data, voice and sms.

this is internal circular came to all the JIO units. Check tomorrow morning any Reliance Digital or DX Store with any Government employee id, address proof and photo.
