If you are unlocked then you can try 4.4 from Cynogenmod... I have been using it without much issues (4.4.1) Unlocked or Root??? GSM side of the phone is already unlocked and using every sim. CDMA side it's MEID is registered with reliance. Can you more specific about the word unlocked.

if it is cdma phone you can check it is good esn or bad esn. http://checkesnfree.com if it is bad esn. then it may be breached contract or reported stolen (correct if I am worng) In so far GSM phones https://prod.eie.net.au/portal/template/MYMIMEIInquiry.vm But is always better to check with checkmend report. Checkmend report is not free. Check ebay.com or ebay.in for this service. if it is proved bad esn, the phone cannot be used in USA or the respective countries. But in indian CDMA operators even Bad EsN phones are accepted to my knowledge. if it is not clean GSM phone it will be the same thing but can be used other countries if it is unlocked one.

Payqi3 is best option. It works with iPhone (CDMA) (GSM) and also android phones. Just wait I ordered one and waiting for the unit. It was shipped only 2days back. I post my experience with payqi3. It is a combination of Gmate+ and apple peel.

gmate is old version and it is separate device. it requires jailbreak to my understanding. Gmate IMEI are not valid in india only BSNL, MTNL works.(one of my friend faced the problem). But payqi is latest version. It is also dependent on Bluetooth and works independently and can be attached to iPod. It is a combination of apple peel and gmate. By the way Payqi ordered for my wifi ipod5touch. Waiting for the unit.

Anybody has experience with Force One. The reviews are bad on the net. But the 5guys i know using in Hyderabad has no complaints(I enquired with their drivers). They are using for the last 18 months. Yes, I too accept that, for some programs, we need to relay upon PC only. like CDMA workshop, DFS etc. That is the reason, I installs windows also using bootcamp. But frankly speaking except for using those windows specific programs I never boot for bootcamp. Even when I booted from windows, I feel much much greater speed and performance on Apple Hardware comparing with Windows PC while running windows. I relay upon Sony and wii for games at Home and Even I feel My MBA is giving good performance on gaming. But one thing I want to say, Macs do well even while running windows.
