On practical Experience, I conclude my opinion: In urban area 1x better than EDGE. 3g is equal to EVDO rev.A. If you have assigned higher bandwidth of 7.2 or more on your 3g GSM sim it will be better than EVDO. In Rural Area though both s**ks. Always 1x and EVDO is much, much better than EDGE and 3g on any State/network.

I did with one phone which did not support sync with gmail. if it support sd card then there is turn around. you have to create csv files for each contract with help of windows address book. (windows xp) copy to the SD card and then you can. Long ago I done with virgin phone.

Anybody is interested in Palm Treo 650 GSM model. I have 2 phones one is in working condition and one is not working condition. 2 phones+one Battery+one charger, I will ship. To my knowledge this is first and last touch PDF indian released with fax capability. First touch PDF phone is palm 600 to my knowledge. Still working grate.

It seems that temple gangapur also covered by tata indicom. So I advice you to buy unlocked CDMA dongle and use tata docomo prepaid CDMA card by charging with rs.95. In Mumbai you will get 3G/EVDO and gangapur 1x. The trick would be use APN/user name as MEID@omh.ttsl.in and password as internet. You can get 4.5 gb data for 95 with validity period of 30 days.

It is 16gb silver CDMA and GSM. Verizon one. the solution for using MTS is also available with cdmatool. Only problem would be registration of meid on their network. I am not happy with the performance of iPhone 5 when I used it. But the same is not with 5S. I am very much impressed the speed, durability, and camera. So, I may not dispense with this phone in near feature unless, a better phone from apple available. (still I am unable to dispense with my 4s)
