I have heard there is some battery drain issue which is reducing the battery backup of Maxx to half. -

I had an issue with eBay India. I purchased a Bluetooth headset saying it got mfg. Warranty. However, it was an imported item and got no warranty in India. I was refused for warranty at service center and conveyed the same to eBay. EBay told me to get a letter from the service center authorities that there is no warranty in India. The letter was not provided to me and eBay refused me of the claim. So their eBay guarantee programme is also nothing less than a joke which provide no protection to the buyer. Galaxy nexus is better than s2 imo. Don't go for a windows phone unless no apps are required. If going for windows then consider HTC 8s or Nokia lumia 620 Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2 -
Nexus 7 is the only low cost and reliable tablet. Good for playing games and other fun apps. Don't go for cheap Chinese tablets. They last only for a month. Micro max fun book only has an advantage of one year warranty. But who wants to go to service centers. Many friends complaint about fun book issues. The best choice is nexus 7 or samsung tab.

My friend's gsm s2 stopped working on its on. Nothing appears on the display even with charging, resets etc. Is this bricked. Someone said it's a motherboard issue.

Since he needs a phone only for calling, so there is no need of qwerty keyboards or multicore processors. Only thing required is good looks, sound quality and battery backup. Even my requirements match this person. So your suggestions will help me too. -
Strange thing happened with me. I'm no expert in flashing ROMS, and decided to try the ota. My galaxy nexus got updated without any issues to 4.2.1 with new baseband and radio GA02 Kapil ji, as I'm not using evdo, I dont know whether its working or not. Earlier it was on fc12. However, when I tried ota on my brother's gnexus, ota was downloaded and after restart, there was an error and the phone rebooted in 4.1.1 Both phones are working perfectly,but one got updated and the other didn't.

Even I have a locked nokia lumia 800 locked to vodafone ,UK. As far as I know U.K. Phones are not being unlocked these days. No seller on ebay or any unlocking website is supporting to unlock this. So, the only way to unlock is to do it officially from U.K. Also I learnt the method of unlocked boot loader and flashing a custom rom, but I am not gonna try that.

Even I am confused between S2 and droid razr. Droid razr can be used with reliance omh sim card directly. Since evdo is not available in my city, I dont need data services. But this situation is faced by me only. Maxx is also out of my budget. What is the price for Droid razr ???? I also want to know whether Galaxy Nexus can be used on Reliance Cdma??? If possible then I can consider that too. -
