look at the forms corresponding to the netbook for more os installation issues. Vista will work but will be very slow, you may need to remove lot of OS garbage before u install it in a netbook. and forget about Aero look I never used Linux earlier, There are some linux distros which are very easy to install(easier than windows ) and configure I installed Ubuntu without any issues, unlike windows all the drivers and software comes preinstalled with linux distros.

if the netbook is used purely for downloads/entertainment/browsing preinstalled linux is sufficent. or there are lot of good linux distros are avilable for windows users to switch to linux . note that linux gives more batttery life than windows.

yes, if u want warranty buy in india . I know abt service issues with MSI and Asus. But It does not matter whether the service centers/showrooms are all around india or not, the quality of service at your place matters. Remeber nokia I purchased my netbook from a local Sadik . so i need not have to deal with original ppl

I think Akshat news is correct. I belive it may be part of $100 lptp initiative. The laptops can be mainly for kids and gov orgs, it may have very less memory and config(like intel classmate PC) I donot think CPU itself will cost 100$ . Intel Atom it is one of the big cash cow for intel, its cost is amost 5$ per CPU( for intel and sold at 50$ for OEM ) and all the netbooks in the market(EEE pc, Wind, aspire one, etc etc) are comertialized version of laptop for every one(OLPC, classmate)

Is there any other way to run these files? Just searched the net and found that u need to copy all the files to patch dir and run the updater

R u still playing this Game? I donot remember much about this. try to copy a patch file to local disk/program files/microsoft games/rise of legends/patches and then restart the game see what happens, if nothing is happening try to run Autoupdate inside the games main menu/ or From the start menu. Also these updates are delta updates, so u need to feed them in proper order.

Tanveer, Did u go to the connection manager and set the default connection to Reliance net connect?, did u installed Hetals extended ROM? Did u removed the USB connection from u'r PC before connecting to internet in u'r mobile?

Is it not possible to do it from mobile itself?, means disable call farwarding option in phone settings?

Arun, I was able to make conn with Reliance netconnect and Wifi, earlier I did not selected gpsone on QPST thinking that it is related to GPS but when I turned it on everything seems to be working. Wifi seems to be connected, but IE does not seems to take data from it when the phone is disabled. Is there any way to give preference of Wifi over the data connection when it is available? Also I was not able to know when it connected to Reliance netconnect and how long it is connected.Is there any way to do this? How to create desktop shortcuts? I want to revert back to Sprint defaut ROM(minus sprint crap (Special_4350) and hetals ext ROM , How to do that?

Did I added this post in a wrong thread? looks like suddenly all posts were moved here I have checked the IP behaviour, in QPST and as I mentioned earlier, If I tried to connect to Reliance Netconnect in in the connection manager, it shows connected. But Internet explorer displays a message ""Cannot connect with current connection settings, To change your connection settings, tap settings", when I try to browse. Just now I have checked comm manager, the entry Data connection is disabled (what about your mobile?) I hv observed this with the earlier installation of ROM also(except the time when netconnect was working) Regarding Wifi, I am configuring it from wifi shortcut in settings. I am using netgear router & I just changed enabled broadcast SSID and then again disabled in router settings. now the moble shows my home network as avaialble with the signal , but when I press connect button, it says connecting but again goes back to avaialable state
