On the first day I had Hetal's ROM version D and same ext ROM, After looking at your guide, I have set the parameters(incl Simple IP) which I have missed earlier. and internet worked (but wifi did not) and afterwords I just wanted to revert back to sprints ROM and hetals Ext ROM, When I did that some parameters were changed like SPC, MCC and others. So when I fixed all those params, netconnect did not worked and in that process hetals ext ROM was not installed. Then again I changed back to Hetals version E and then version D with latest ext ROM and then I loaded all the service params which I saved Just after changing ESN from QPST, followed the guide. Then also no succes with Netconnect and Wifi.

I am not able to connect to the internet, I am having Hetal's ROM version D and latest extd ROM. in the connection manager, If I double click on reliance netconnect icon, it connects to internet. but when I open Internet explorer then it gives an error "Cannot connect with current connection settings, To change your connection settings, tap settings" Wifi is also not working plz help

Hetal, If I disable the GPS hardware in QPS* then is it going to increase battery life ?

I have an issue the the updated ROM version D(i hv not checked vertion E), i hv enabled battery icon next to network icon, and from that time onwards it has paint prob in drawing battery, speaker, network icon

Yes I have also seen this when ever CD/DVD drives goes bad, just buy a new one it is waste to try to repair it For each media type and data layer different laser parameters are used to access/write. So the drive knows what is the intencity and frequency of laser must be used for a perticular media. rest of the reasons/precautions as per kshah's & Honest Posts

Is it not possible to install apps(which we copy in flash drive) directly from the system? with out reinstalling the entire ROM itself?

Hetal, Just updated to the HP6800-6.1-5.2.19209-D Looks like u forgot to put u'r avatar in the boot screen I was not able to connect to RelianceNetconnect and Wifi , any ideas why?

Saurav, ICICIDirect works even with my 6275, (I donot know about ICICI bank main website) I used it check the statuc of order and update the orders while on the move. So I believe in wm6 it will be for better than 6275 I have latest opera browser in 6275 and I used to see the regular lock symbol shown for secure websites, However it is bettet to use google to find the general info in mobile browser security.

Saurav, Internet connection sharing is used to share a internet conn from more than 1 system or clients. I believe the meaning in this case is the feature to use internet from more than 1 PC/device from u'r mobile is disabled by default.

There must be a link or website or something where it can be shown so that we can understand it properly how to generate a product key I did not understand, Do u just want to know the methods/algorithms generally used to generate Product keys, or do u want to know about the process of generating the keys using the above softwares.

If u are packaging and distibuting u'r software using 3rd party installation softwares like Installishiled,Wise installation, Flex They provide u option to generate standard set of CD keys or product keys to unlock the software. They also provide u the option of making the software run as trial version for the number of days set by u. comments in above posts helps u if u wants to unlock them

My personal preference is to have PS3, XBox360, Wii. My suggestion to others is first decide/know what games games u like, Based on that buy the hardware which can play those games. Since many games are exclusive to one hardware. After buying the hardware, if u are not able to play your favorite game, then the hardware just a junk. also If u cannot afford to buy original games, then avalabilty of p*rated games & tweaked console is also a criteria in selection
