more movies/month -
It has a mutitouch trackpad not touch screen. but the pricing seems to good for this product Well If u are looking for just a netbook, there are lot of options any company which cells laptop also has netbook. But if u are looking for a cheap tablet. means touch book/tablet netbook currently only gigabyte and 'Always Innovating' has products. Asus and few other companies are in que. Touch screen itself adds lot of weight in the final pricing. If you are always on the move, very important is battery life and size/weight of entire device so depending on that make your decision.

First of all it has a 7" display, donot know How much confortable u will be with such a small display. you can only use this for browsing, may become very slow with other things. CPU is manufactured with 90nm process which is pretty old. finnaly purpose of the having a tablet is to use it on the move. it tells 3hrs in idel conditions that means if 3hrs if do nothing.(They are not telling the condition of display and other devices) So if u use the laptop, battery will be over very quickly. afterthat it just a paperweight in your bag What I am sujjesting is, Write down you requirements. compare it with what this will offer and then decide. Also from the information I got, if you are looking for cheap tablet from abroad, you can look at refurbished models starting for $600. you could also go with the capacitive touch Dell XT starting at $790 (there's often a 20% off coupon to make that $630).

Airtel's New "fair Usage Policy" Policy

I am on 2222 plan, I also got similar mail by couriour. They were refering to some threshold value, but did not mentioned what is that value. They should learn from what happed in US. When the ISP's there tried to restrict the bandwidth. These companies somehow think of rediculous ways of avoiding upgrading their infrastructure. Having this plan is as good as having a machine gun and allowed to fire 1 bullet/min signed the petition. -
I stayed away from tablet bz of thier cost. But Soon this will change with ASUS If you planning to wait for some months They are going to release a 9" tablet netbook soon. search google for more info/demo

Does Rel allows number protability from CDMA to GSM? -
I don't know what method you used to burn those 9 DVD's But not all players support custom burnt DVD's. AFIK older sony player used to reject the pi**ted movie DVD which are available on streets. y donot u try using those DVD's on some other players? For the instructions to use nero, Search internet. Use a DVD-RW so that u can reburn DVD if something happens.

The ultra low-cost device has been developed with support of IIT Madras, Indian Institute of Science and some B Tech students. It can be charged with a two-watt power input and has a two GB memory which can be enhanced. The configuration can be upgraded. The government will not subsidise the device, it has already invested in its development. The complete config is yet to be disclosed, Anyone has more insider infor on this? Source

thats what I was thinking, each component they need is going to cost 10-20$, waiting for the final anouncement

Just to be on safer side Donot buy ATOM less than 1.6MHz if browsing/music is not the primary task for you.

gr8 How is the quality of the material compared to Acer or any other netbook/UMPC Did u buy Linux version?
-
New models will always cost more. The current generation of intel Atom processor and the chipset is going to be replaced in another 2- 3 months by Intels own new Atom+chipset and also with Nvideas chipsets. So there is more chances of dealers/destributers inflating the prices in the beginning than the Acer.
