Hi. I have a palm pixi plus handset. I got its meid registered by someone on this forum. The meid has been succesfully registered with reliance (getstat rsn checked). But I have been waiting for the programming of the handset since a week. I am sure that eventually Sir will be able to squeeze time for the requisite programming. Meanwhile I have been requesting him for mailing me the details so that I tackle the qpst myself and save him the trouble. I am yet to receive a response since last week. Nonetheless, can anybody help me with the AKEY and rest of the details required for the programming ? Thanks

Thanks for the advice, My pixi is working on reliance and running web os 1.4.5 i had installed the activation bye pass tool after downloading from rim web only, still i am not able to connect to qpst. satinder. Earlier you said you couldn't get the USBPASS to get working. I guess you are able to do that now. If you need more help PM me. I might help you through teamviewer. Cheers !!!

This could be a proximity sensor issue. The proximity sensor turns off the screen and disbales the touchscreen when you hold the phone close to your face for. eg. in situations like calling. A possible reason could be proximity sensor obstruction. On pixi plus tts located on top left corner of the screen. Near the power button ... oppsite the verizon logo and left to the speaker hole on screen. If you tilt your handset a little . You can notice two shades of circles there. Different sizes. Those are it. If you have got the protective screen/lamination still on, try cleaning it or peeling it of or try cutting a hole for the sensor region. Good Luck !!!

Have you already done the activation bypass or installed any bypass rom ? I had the same problem when trying to press ##8727277# without bypassing the activation. Once bypassed the popup menu comes after a while after pressing the code. Keep the keygen and put the S.No. handy. Rememember tts case senstitive. PM me if you need more help.

Does a plam pixi plus have both ESN and MEID ? Thats what it shows in qpst at least. On the upper right corner of the I can see both fields (ESN and MEID) with data. Can this ESN number shown be used for registration with carriers ? OR does the handset need to be actiavted in ESN mode? Thanks

DO MEID and ESN represent same data value in different formats ? I came across these converters on the internet like - meidconverter.com. Doest it also mean that any of the converted values can be used while registration with the carrier > For eg. if a handset has MEID printed under its battery and shows only the MEID in the firmware, can it be registered with reliance,tata,bsnl using the converted ESN value ? If the above is not possible, is there any way to get the handset working on other mode (meid to esn mode / esn to meid mode).
