I have LG 2030 its working good .. About speed... now I bought a new laptop and connected to the HOME network ( I have IBM pc on home network) so by LAN I'm getting double speed now a days. (Both pc connected to internet from one phone it's like RIM -->> IBM -->> HP LAP ) I mean to say 15KB per second on IBM PC and 15 KB ON laptop

For LG 2030 2539** What will happen when i do that? new LG software updated?

Thanks Ladka, But I already received USB Driver CD with DATA Cable. It's called "USB to Serial Bridge" But there is no RIM Dialer software on that CD:( How to work on this now? ( I tried the steps given on this form, but failed )

After installing driver & restart, I get message like connect the usb cable to phone , then next button is NOT activating for setup. I attempted many time. Still failed.

I bought new USB DATA Cable for Rconnect. ( I have Serial Cable, that's still working) There is no software for that cable, can someone show me where I get drivers and Rconnect software for it. (It's not original cable, box name is "Microsim USB Data Cable" for LG RD 2030) Someone please help me out

Is there any option if I want to give up my data card ? will I get at least 5k for that card from reliance?

I've heard that we can make calls and sms via the RConnect Card, cant we? It does work like a phone via the laptop. In that case, its quite good. Especially if the card is going to be used for many many hours, over the laptop, primarily for RConnect. and u also get the unlimited plan over the Card! But for wireless internet card is best option for laptop. Mobile battery will come with u for 1 hr only. If you are like me (surfing 20 hours a day ) then u need card. It cost 9900 I'm waiting for LG Card lets see when it will come.

Ye, I will go for prepaid after getting DATA Card for Net. I called RIM Customer Service. They even don't know about LG Card. Anyone have updates Hope it will be less then 9k. Waiting for that.

I was DAPO at first then I changed into Joy plan when it started. and changed into PLATINUM (Unlimited Internet Plan) as I only use My RIM for Internet. Now I got a new Laptop. So in this form I found internet through DATA CARD is faster then mobile so I decided to give up my rim and buy data card for internet. I called CCARE they said I cannot exchange mobile for data card. But I can buy card. But I get double bill like for data card and for mobile. I want to give up my mobile. It's 2 year old now. is they take more money from me if I surrender my mobile and close connection? (bcoz it's 3 year agreement, now it's 2nd year) or if I do it prepaid and close the connection?. which option is the best? please help.

Thanks Raj. I like unlimited plan. I thought there is some voice charges. If I give up my rim (which i'm using for rconnect since last 2 years) and take card then they charge 1000 bucks? as it's not 3 year. Or how about if I change it to prepaid and close the connection.?

But I love LG We have LG TV LG 2030 Handset, At first I had LG Monitor. All LG stuff worked well for me. When they are lunching LG Card.? I got a new HP NC4000 Laptop. At first I was surfing net through RD2030 on my desktop. If I give up my Mobile and take card how much extra they charge? And bill is Only Rs 1500 (For unlimited) or plus tax? Please help, or any recommendations.
