    I don't find any bad in Chinese rom. Just remove the bloatwares and change the boot menus and its awesome. Just wanted to taste sense 3.0/3.5 on it. I also found one patch for same will try it some day.

    The part you are refering is just to configure evdo on your set. You just have to connect it to qpst with the same port as it is showing in device manager. Then you need to read the phone and you have to edit ppp config tabs as mentioned by you. If you are doing this by this method, forget about nv items. Just follow the same post you mentioned. Please note all these steps should be done only after evdo parameters are registered with reliance. If you haven't done that then contact your handset seller. Hope it helps.     Yes , correct. Chinese rom automatically detects SIM, So there is no concept of globa/cdma mode though it is there in my D2G. I will try to flash a fresh roam when i will get my download limit back . @Kapil is there any sense 3.0/ sense 3.5 rom which is compatible with GSM as for now m not using it with cdma. In XDA i don't find any good GSM roam though patches are available but not so successful.

  12. Hi Kapil, Thanks for the help. I am able to go to fastboot. And yes, it also changes to fastboot usb. But my pc dint recognise the phone though all htc drivers are updated. Once it recognizes it i think i can do the changes by adb.

  14. Finally successful in modifying win 7 64 bit drivers for pal pre/pre plus users. just update generic driver with this file and all is well. Just press the thanks button if it helps as i wasted my 2 full nights in this research. passthru-drivers.zip
  15. Photon is definitely a winner.....Dinc 2 has been made a world phone ....It was not having compatibility to support ruim in stock rom while Photon is a world phone out of the box.

  21. Yes, Evdo needs to be reactivated for new Ruim. If he got his number changed to ruim, He should now get Evdo activated on his ruim as reliance is not giving EVDO activated ruim(OMH). You can call cc and ask them that you are using samsung corby and want EVDO speed on this and they will take a request for EVDO activation on your OMH. If you will tell incredible2 , they wont help you for sure. Or else you can also get benefit of AMIT JI's initiative of EVDO activation. You need to provide MDN, customer name and MEID written on RUIM. check here for more information Regards, Faiz

    Hi, Since you have been using this mobile.. would like to know if we can upgrade the installed OS Android 2.1 to 2.2 or 2.3.. Do let me know if its possible.. as I am thinking of buying this phone but OS 2.1 is a big deterrent in the whole decision buying process... Thanks. Hey!! You can upgrade this on 2.2 froyo. There are some Chinese roms available .You just have to mod them and remove Chinese apps by titanium backup. If you need this phone pm me.

  24. EVDO Reactivation / Shifting To New Device

    In case it is lost and it is non-sim based phone, You have to contact customer care and they would make a lost RSN case and will damage the RSN after which nobody can use neither set nor data services as Evdo settings are RSN specific. If it is ruim based phone, You just have to block your SIM card and get another sim card. As APN is set according to your MDN, this MDN should match with your RUIM RSN for data services to work,hence if you block old ruim and get new ruim data services will work only with the ruim you have nor with the blocked ruim.
  25. Mobile internet packs are to use internet with r-world/r-world settings while other data cable plans are netconnect plans and you can even use them on mobile with netconnect username and password (MDN)
