  1. VOIP wid R-Connect

HI Sunil, You are half right. I have the VOIP blaster http://www.innosphere.net/voipblaster/default.htm installed on both ends. So both the terminals has to be connected to the internet. I can call them on the phone but its not big diff in price then the normal call (to india). On the other hand they can call me on my phone for only about 10 A cents a min. I usually tops up there account from time to time. But the quality of the call is less then average.
  2. VOIP wid R-Connect

Thanks Arun and everyone else for replying and giving you input. I dont think that the broadband you are talking about will be available in my area in the near future. What kind of Broadband service it will be? I mean ADSL, Cable or Sat? But if R-Connect is any (even a bit) better then dial up and then i will go with that. I will be visiting home in Aug and hopefully by then the speeds will be better.
  3. VOIP wid R-Connect

Hi Everyone, Pls forgive me if i dont know all about relianve R-Connect. I am living in Australia for the last 10 years so i dont know much happening in india. I found out a few days ago from Reliance web site that it is possible to have a broadband connection. I have a dial up account for my parents in india( amritsar Punjab). I do VoIP (with VoIP blaster) with them every week. But the voice quality is very poor. I here have a broadband connection. I would like to know that if R-Connect with a FWP will be any better then dial up? How is the speed? How hard it is to get connected and so. I'll really appreciate your help. Thanks in Advance. Gurinder Singh.
