    When this situation happened back in July 2013, they started charging high customs on some of my packages for which i said that i will pay the duties but you have to provide me with the BOE receipts for which they assured me that will indeed email me all the docs. Since then i have not received any updates regarding this matter. As far as my understanding goes, this is both PPOBOX and customers fault, ppo guys should have been clear with the customs department from the start and thr clients should have been fair to the service. I know many people who import phones in bulk and undervalue thr shipments to save on customs. As per my understanding about the PPO scenario is that they never pays the customs, they are either bribing the officials or getting the stuff cleared by some other means. I have been always fair to them since the start and always provided even the order numbers so that incase they are doubtful about the price they can cross check it. If they are genuinely interested in solving everyone's issues, they should provide option to upload the item link with an attachment option to upload the payment receipt of paypal or ebay just like SnS. These guys seems to be loosing control of the operations, we might need some other alternatives now. Only issue with SnS is they have no control over the custom duties, we have to pay double the item price as custom duties in some cases, if this issue gets resolved by SnS, i m certainly sure that alteast 60-70% of the people will swtich to SnS.

    I guess it should fall under easily flashable category. The code does works on this phone but i cannot confirm whether it helps or not since i do not have the phone.

    Yes it is oldschool, unless you the know proper dialer code and unless the Provisioning file is there in the system. I have shuffled through alot of LG phones on which these codes doesnt work but writing the file does. Its just basically the same stuff, and you might want to cross check before buying LG phones that they are indeed working on EVDO. There are many phones now on which even if the EVDO settings gets sticked, EVDO will not work.

    The NV File posted does the same as the code. And the code probably works fine too

    I probably dont think that works, i tried that thing with the Optimus G. However you can try the posted NV Item file to check the EVDO.

    Dev unlock the bootloader, flash twrp, root the phone. Download Sim unlock zip flashable file from xda (do the search). Flash with TWRP and use the same old am broadcast command to bring up the menu

    For those who are having problems, do the steps as mentioned below. Update to JellyBean Flash MODEM RTN reset the phone Root Run the last 2 commands with files places in phone.
  8. @OP, can you make sure while the phone is set to CDMA_HDR only and you reboot the phone, does you are having same issues as Hetal ? Or your phone is working fine on reboots and without any simcard inserted?

    Replied. Please note that anyone who is willing to send his phone to me for unbrick, care to tell the phone's history carefully and without any kind of fake story for the reason of brick. If you do so, you are wasting your and my time. For instance i have received few phones for which users claimed that the phones were bricked due to wrong rom/recovery issues whereas the phones were already JTAG'd at first. Most of the time i dont know the reason, but the phones which i got have already been tried to fix but the guys were still unable to get it booted. Dunno how they do this, but i have fixed several of these kind of phones, however i have also received phones which have hardware/water damage and the users claimed that the phone bricked due to flashing. Please understand that this kind of instances happens usually due to which alot of time is wasted.

    Have you tried entering the download mode ? Take out the battery, insert it back and power it on while holding the home key and vol- key. Use odin to flash the official stock firmware and see

    I offer the same JTAG service for 1500rs shipped back to the customer without need to travel anywhere. The above is case is surely a soft brick, try to use other teeny bins and see results, you would only require JTAG if your phone doesn't boot at all.

    Thats why i asked you to send the phone to me, as i told you earlier thr is no support for this phone by any jtag device. One needs to first find the jtag pads which can be 6-8 out of 100s of openly exposed on the pcb. It takes time to find out exact locations and function of each pad. After this i might be able to get your device fixed but need atleast one working device or maybe possible with adb backup if someone has the same model. Let me know if you are still interested.

    It is clearly mentioned that you need to put those files and use dd command in the last. Else it would work only for a single time after flashing tar and not after reboot.

    If it didnt worked, you need to do RTN reset and root again followed by the using the last 2 dd commands again, it should work then

    Maybe they have issues with data, when i had this phone. Data worked fine with my settings on CM10.2

    What 4.3 rom you are referring to? As far as i knw, the latest update to this phone is ZVB (4.1.2)

    I dont knw what issues you guys have, but i just flashed the phone to MB2 to check hidden menu thing and it seems to work as usual without even flashing the odin package. Please check and post results

    it works on my axiom currently at 4.1.2 update. Yes you can delete the files once you are done with commands Main post updated as per question asked by nishsuxx, hidden menu will work after flashing file via odin .
