I had flashed my epic with CM10 (stable release) but could not get data connection. Had same issues on Carbon too. Flashed back to FC09 and had the data connection working again. Could not understand the problem. Reflashed CM10 but had the same issues. Is is because I did not flash any modems post the ROM? Can someone help me with what all needs to be done to get to CM10 (with all the other stuff that needs to be flashed). I am new to this and almost got my phone to a state where I could not get it to boot except in download mode. Scared to do anything now.

Hi Guys, I too have a Samsung Epic 4G and am facing the same problem as Sameer. This problem started all of a sudden while using Wifi at a hotel (was updating a few app; have already uninstalled them). I am able to create a hotspot for other devices to use my internet connect but not able to use it on my phone. Regards, Mehul
