Hi All, Please suggest me Any GSM qwerty Slider phone like Samsung Epic 4G (It was CDMA). I have to do lot of mailing and net surfing. I tried checking in all RIMWEB but did not find any good one. Budget : 12000-16000. Thankx in Advc.

Hi Friendz, I am using S3 US Cellular With Tata Indicom on OMH Sim @ chandigarh. Everything is working great with Evdo and network. But having 2 issues with it so far. 1. when i am using S voice its also ask me to speak so that it can answer but instead of answer i am getting the "Server error, please try again" with whatever i put there. 2 Whenever i tried to Trun off /On mobile data from notification area its asking me to "insert Sim card to access network services" However i am able to Off/ On data from Settings. My Phone is rooted with Samsung tool kit.

Oh yeah ! .. I never tried testing in CM however used Cm 7&9. Let me Try in that too.. Thankx Buddies

I am using Samsung Epic 4g and since the starting i face issues with the GPS accuracy. Its always takes 10-15 minutes while connecting with all the signals. However i tried the Gpsfix.zip file and even tried almost all Roms and currently using People rom with GB 2.3.6 ,Shadow Rom FC09 MTD one. I heard of something cold start in Froyo mode but did not get any option in G.B rom. Hope you guyz have smthing new here for GPS this time. Thankx in Advance

Even Youtube helped me many time while rooting/unrooting phone. I mostly follow QBKING77 channel there and even recently he launched the Site also. http://www.qbking77.com/ which is simple and too good.

I Tried All most all The step but had same problm.. then sent the mail to Parin and today got the NV .txt with tata PRL , Flashed both with CDMA workshop an now working grt same as it was.. Thankx to all who replied on my post and to Parin for Support

Well i am going to Put the MDN and MIN number in Data but i Dont know abt the NV thats what the trouble is, Could You give me any Idea about it ?

Yes i am going to Flash this (http://briefmobile.com/how-to-install-fc09-for-the-epic-4g) lets see. @Vinod : i changed all the setting in Qpst manually as earlier it was not at all connecting with Data but after these setting its connected with 1x data with 3G icon on top. Well i have no idea about the nv item but still sent the mail to Parin dada for help as last time configured by him.

Hi Team please help, I am unable to use 3G with my Samsung Epic 4G with tata indicom, It was working fine but i accidently click on Update firmware option Under Settings >System updates, Later on i Done reset with QPST and CDMA workshop. In M.IP option i putted the meid@Pda.ttsl.in and password as "internet". (See in Pics). I am having the issue while changing the "AN" option in PPP config Tab its coming "XYZ@hcm.sprintpcs.com" and whenever i change it to meid@pda.ttsl.in its coming back to the same "XYZ@hcm.sprintpcs.com". But now i am able to get the 3G icon with 1x data and also whenever i am turning on the mobile data , My phone start coming busy for the callers. I don't know i tried almost all settings by checking on Rim web or XDA. When i was extracting the NV Dumb before flashing the phone i found something meid@evdo.ttsl.in in the .txt file that has been used to configure earlier. I Got help by Parin Data earlier for the same issue where it was working as 1x with 3G icon. Dada Seeking ur Heed again. Well i have no idea how to install the gps_fix? Can you please add a link in which i can get the steps about this. Also i have a evdo configured with Tata so do want to make any issue with that. plzz assist

@Chirag M - Well i am new to android coz tata indicom Never allowed me that (lolzz) So i have no idea but i went to about phone option and pasting the info Firmware Version 2.3.6 Baseband Version S:D700.0.5S.EL30 Kernel Version 2.6.45.7 Build number GINGERBREAD.EL30 Hardware Version D700.0.5 And this is the new handset i never tried to install any rom on it..So hope you could the info else let me know how to get that info.. thankx for repling
