Hi guys I want to purchase a data card for my laptop, so that I can access Internet anywhere. I hv 2 options in my city: Reliance OR Tata. Reliance speed isnt good since past few months and Tata users are getting good speed here. So I'm planning to get Tata card. But following are a few factors, for which I want ur opinions: 1. Reliance provides unlimited plans for data cards but Tata doesnt provide any unlimited plan. It provides 512 MB or 1 GB limits. Currently there is a plan! If we purchase a data card before 15th May, we can get 5 GB limit for 3 months. 2. I read at tata site that the limit includes upload as well as downloads. So pls suggest me should I go for Tata card? Is anyone using it here? Will it a good deal? thnx in advance. pls guys, provide ur suggestions quickly coz I hv only one day left!

In most cases, getting SPAM mails depends upon where u hv given ur which e-mail address? Suppose u gave ur yahoo! mail address at P0rn site, then what kind of mails u expect in ur inbox? I never get any Spam mail in my Hotmail account but get a few Spam mails (2 or 3 daily) in Yahoo! account coz I use my Y! account for online registrations, like forum registrations, etc.

thnx buddy for ur reply. I hv checked the speed and Reliance speed is pathetic in my area but Tata speed is quite good. So I'm planning to go for Tata card.

1. Is there any difference in USB card and PCMCIA card? 2. My LSP 350R gives lots of disconnect problem, while switching on/off electric equipments bcoz I use USB cable. So will the USB card also give this problem? I want to purchase USB card so that I can use i in desktop also and new laptop doesnt come with PCMCIA slot. 3. Do data cards alo go in Dormancy mode?

I read somewhere that Vista doesnt recognize all TV tuner cards. There r only a few tuner cards, which works in Vista.

Guys! As u all know Vista is out and I'm using it since many months. So in this period I hv found lots of interesting things, a few of them can be called goof-ups. So in this thread I'll post about such interesting facts. 1. If u press <SHIFT> key and right-click on a folder, u'll get "Open Command Window here" and "Copy as Path" options. 2. U can enable "Checkboxes" to select items using "Folder Options". It helps in selecting multiple items. 3. Windows DreamScene doesnt work, if "Show Translucent selection rectangle" option is disabled from System Properties (Performance Settings). 4. DreamScene stops running, when we maximize the active window. 5. When u change something from Performance Settings in System Properties, the Aero theme is automatically changed to Vista Basic theme.
