Hi guys in R-World, there is a option "Rim Directory" (something like that i forgot) in this we can enter a mobile number, and it'll show its owner's name and his address. similiarily if we enter name, it'll show his mobile number. i want to know can we do like this on net i mean does Reliance website "www.relianceinfo.com" provide such feature. because if someone doesnt have rim and want to know a mobile number's owner name, how will he do that?

Hi guys! I want to tell that there are some directories in LG-RD2030 file system, that can be safely removed. I mean if u delete these directories, there will be no problem to ur mobile (like not starting or others). Directories are: u can delete "wavelet" directory, it contains media files that u have saved from R-World. u can delete "t9udb" directory, if u want to delete the words, that have been added, into T9 directory, it will be created again automatically, when u'll restart ur mobile. u can delete "sch" directory, it contains a record of schedules that u have added in ur mobile, it will be created again automatically, when u'll restart ur mobile. u can delete "icndl" directory, it contains nothing. u can delete "game" directory, in my mobile it contains one file, named "game_info.dat" of 0 byte, it will be created again automatically, when u'll restart ur mobile. u can delete "chimg" directory, it will be created again automatically, when u'll restart ur mobile. u can also delet "bootefs.id" file, it will be also created again automatically, when u'll restart ur mobile. u can delete "log_00.dat", "log_01.dat", "log_02.dat" files in "pim" directory, it will be created again automatically, when u'll restart ur mobile.

I have LG CineMAX TV and this code working fine. My TV didnt have Golden Eye, but it had a button for it in its remote and I was able to start GOLDEN EYE in my TV through Service Mode. In service menu there was an option for Eye, and it was set to 0. I change it to 1 and VOILLA, now my TV is GOLDEN EYE enabled. gr8.

Guys! In 5th option Set Service when u enter, there r following settings: 1. 1st option is "ESN" and two buttons <OK> and <AKEY>. If u press <AKEY>, it'll allow u to enter new AKEY. If u press <OK> it'll show u next option. 2. Next option is "NAM1 NUMBER" (allow u to edit it) 3. "BASIC NAM1 PROGRAMMING" and two buttons <EXIT> (exit from service programming & phone restarts) and <MORE> (to set other settings). If u'll press <MORE> 4. "SERVICE CODE" (allow u to edit it). 5. "NAM1 MCC" (allow u to edit it) 6. "NAM1 NMSID" (allow u to edit it) 7. "NAM1 TRUE MCC" (allow u to edit it) 8. "NAM1 TRUE NMSID" (allow u to edit it) 9. "NAM1 CDMA CH1" (allow u to edit it) 10. "NAM1 CDMA CH2" (allow u to edit it) 11. "NAM1 CDMA CH3" (allow u to edit it) 12. "NAM1 CDMA CH4" (allow u to edit it) 13. "NAM1 HOME SID" (allow u to edit it) 14. In my opinion LG-RD 7230 will be better. and R-World applications also run better on LG handsets.

I think u don't need to pay such installments cauz u r buying a second hand phone. and afterall u r giving benefit to Reliance by buying that used phone.

Hey sklm tell me one thing! Is ur phone is locked or r u only thinking that what one should do in such condition? Cauz i don't know whether bitpim will work or not in such condition? so tell me did u try to detect it with bitpim? and if it is not detected then try uniCDMA. I think it'll surely work.

Hi chandramauli! I had LG-RD2030 (post-paid) some days ago. I wanted to surrender it back. I used my post-paid connection for 3 months approx. when i surrendered it. i didnt get my money back (3500 /- approx. for handset) i asked why???. they told me that there is a provision that if u return ur handset before 3 years u have to pay 40 /- per month for remaining time. but if u transfered it to someone then u can avoid from giving these extra charges. so i tranfered it to some one. So forget the amount u gave at the time of connection.
