try following: at prompt, type: su then goto the folder where u save RConnect shell script "rconnect", then type: ./rconnect.sh then do what it says.

i think it is absolutely Clonning. i think sklm clonned LG-RD2030 to his FWP. but i want to know what s/w he used to detect and to read data from FWP? please sklm come to this forum and tell us.

Mastermind i think u have installed some updates of WIN2K on ur PC am i right? i have faced same problem but it was related to RConnect whenever i installed windows updates, i was unable to reinstall RConnect s/w or Modem driver. so try to repair the windows using Windows CD i think it will solve ur problem.

hey guys In my city BSNL is giving same FWP set as Reliance giving (LG-LSP340E) in their WLL connection. is it not happening in ur city?

Hi guys When we install LG-LSP340E R-Connect software. It installs a Standard 19200 bps modem. and it adds a line of AT commands in its "Extra Settings": AT+CRM=1;$LGPKT=3 can anyone tell what it means? and what its use? if i remove this line, the phone doesnt connect.

Mastermind that was in case of "LG-RD2030" in older versions of it there was a field test mode in mobile u can enter in it by pressing <Menu>+0 but in newer versions it was removed so if one upgrade his older version of s/w that has "field test mode" to newer version then he will not be able to enter in field test mode thats it. in field test mode u can do many things, like changing NAM etc. i know a few what one can in field test mode of RD2030 because i never entered in it.

Try following: Right-Click on "My computer" on Desktop or simply press <Win> Key + <Pause/Break> key goto "Advanced" tab and click on "Error Reporting" button select "Disable Error Reporting" click on "OK", then again click on "OK" now try to open ur software.

Hi guys i am facing a problem now a days i connect net using FWP sometimes connection breaks and FWP shows "no service available" can anyone tell me what is the problem there is no signal problem normally FWP shows all 5 bars of signal. is anyone facing same problem?

Hi guys i dont know for which model this method is? i found it on a website. so i posting here. hope techies can find something interesting in it. You can make your Motorola into a cell scanner. The hardest part is grounding the right pin. Grounding this pin will put your phone in test mode. On most flip phones there are 3 pins visible when you remove the battery. The center pin is visible but will not make contact with the center pin on the battery. You must have a rechargeable Motorola battery or a battery that has an metallic contact on the center pin of the battery. To put the phone in test mode, take a piece of aluminum foil and role it into a strip big enough to fit into the gap in the center pin on the phone. Make it large enough that it protrudes above the plastic of the phone so that is makes contact with the center pin of the battery. Make sure that it is not too small and falls into the phone!
