Hi, this is great information i came across... in our country medicines are usually prescribed (by our doctors) by brand name and not by the generics (ingredients). Hence we often end up paying more money for the same medicine... Follow these few steps to know more and start saving on your medical bills. Refer to the attached screen shots. 1. Log on to www.medguideindia.com 2. Click on 'Drugs' 3. Click on 'Brand' 4. Type the brand name which you are using e. g., Metocard XL (50 mg). The site will also help you with drop down menu. Click on 'Search' 5. Click on 'Generics'. It will display the ingredients of the tablet. 6. Click on 'matched brands' 7. Don't be surprised to see that same drug is available at very low cost also. And that to by other reputed manufacturer. e. g., Metocard XL 50 is for Rs. 64.00 and the same drug by Cipla (Mepol) is available @ Rs. 7.00 only!

DDTM can be accessed by ##data# then EVDO... you'll need your msl which is usually 000000 (six times zero)... Any further help... feel free to call up... I'll be glad if I'm of some help... well it wont work on the notification area, for data you always need to go to settings and switch on and off.Atleast that was what hetalji told me for my USC S3 brought from him. you can even use a toggle widget for the same... no need to go to settings... place a shortcut widget on home screen... here is one.. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.miabit.android.dataonoff&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDNd

There is no other setting you need to do... Just for my knowledge is evdo activated on your number??? <br />1x data keeps your number busy while access to internet... Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

Hi... DDTM setting can be accessed by ##3282# but in us cellular we need to activate hidden menu which can be done by *#22745927 And as for data toggle... You can download any widget from play store... Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

Factory reset won't effect the number or EVDO settings it will just wipe user data and user settings like ringtone etc... Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2 -

I was actually thinking exactly the same thing... you know even at this time people keep looking at note 2 and comment... "YEH GRAND HAI NA !!!" and the other round looking at grand they will comment "YEH NOTE HAI !!!" personally i feel now that Samsung have reached such heights... It should also concentrate on other things.. like body built... People do prefer HTC just for the build quality... using some chrome / steel finish....

Strange Charging Issue with plugs when travelling
kmc251 replied to Parth's topic in General Technical Discussion
hi, I've faced this lot many times... basically in trains the voltage is around 110v so may be because of that you might face such problem... regarding the issue at airport... did u use your own charger?? this also happens if we use a after market duplicate charger (Non Original) that's again the voltage thing in local chargers i think... if you used the charging dock at airport... possibly that might be having a 110v charger (US BASED) or a duplicate one.... -

Try this it worked for me twice... Switch off your old handset / sim... Dial *22898 in language selection select hindi "2" don't know the logic behind but it worked twice on different handsets... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 -
Parin sir your experience with these handsets is undoubtedly greater than anyone i've known so far, May be what you are saying is right... But sir I'm actually satisfied with the repair done working absolutely flawless... As far as I know he simply replaced the LCD without any modification... I shall confirm what exactly this guy did to my handset and shall revert... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

go with micromax fun book... starts with 6.5k... good quality as compared to other chinese tabs... if need a choice then have a look at HCL its sturdy... both are good options... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

Works like a charm but takes only 3 connections... not more than that... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

Good to know it worked... you can also do it by dialing*22898... this also does the same thing but will give you keypad option to select language or dial pin.. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
