Nice info... thanks... but just sharing... personally i believe the earlier model STAR 2 (C-6712) was a better option... as it already includes all the above mention features... additional it comes with a better screen size... also it one more additional and important feature... star 2 is a multi tasking supporting handset... you can access multiple operations minimizing them... also it supported online video streaming... like it has a separate in built you tube application... anyway... see ya around mate...

hi... try configuring the APN settings manually for gprs and then access whats app... i am not sure if this is working or not... how ever some of my friends claim this as a working method... not sure... never tried it myself... pls share your experience...

one more experience would like to share... after installing the OPERA mini browser it started supported the languages... but the stock browser also started supporting hindi and Marathi language... ?

I've used this handset... really great... battery life not extra ordinary but better than other android handsets i came across... was eagerly waiting for ics to come up on Epic 4g touch... but didnt find any stable rom... the stock rom is preety enjoyable... the performance of this handset is great... i would say a great decision to go for this one... all the best...

thanks Hitesh for the reply... i've been through the procedure as well.... was a good attempt... worked partly... i mean i could read some of the letters in the same word but some as blocks.... finally found a solution... simply change the web browser you are using... i mean i was using the stock browser... i downloaded OPERA MINI.. ans accessed the same website... and... WELLAH!!!... it worked.... thanks everyone for the kind help & Info....

hey buddy, can u find MSID in the status tab???? thats nothing but your min... as you asked for step by step guide... i think this should solve your problem... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1238070 well.... feel free to ask any doubts... one more thing... as you mentioned you bought the handset from reliance... if i am not wrong its official with bill... you can also walk in to any Samsung service center and they should update the handset for you...

hello friends... just been through all the posts regarding the dual Sim S2... as most of the us require 3g with GSM network many people do doubt on this handset to be a major success like the GSM s2 (i9100) but as seen CDMA s2 getting more and more popular now a days the chances of this handset increases i guess !... anyway... i would be thankful if someone updates if we can get the phone here in India...
