Root the phone install Hi-apn open super user application and update it over wifi as if the super user app is not up to date the problem arise then open Hi-apn and click on autoset apn it would ask for super user permission and then it will ask to setitself as sytem application Restart and you will have a working data. P.s -dont forget to put the phone in global mode from phone info application if you are on ICS rom
