If additional data is available for Rs 50/gb ( in the above attachment it is shown as additional wifi charges )why should I go for higher packs ?? Also the night time 2 AM to 5 AM is a joke. I am sure Jio will rethink on some of its plans. -

For Jio join to work, you must buy Jio MiFi router. -

For voice, you need a VoLTE enabled 4G handset though data will work on any 4G handset starting from 5th Sept. -

Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) has asked all its group employees to shift their existing corporate connections to that of Reliance Jio Infocomm, as the telecom unit of the Mukesh Ambani-owned entity builds towards a much anticipated but delayed commercial launch. In a mail to over 24,000 employees, RIL's human resources department said, "We are excited to announce yet another milestone towards greater excellence, where we will be switching our existing corporate connections to Jio." It's war out there!! -
Imported iPhones if bought from grey market would be obviously cheaper but I doubt whether it support all 3 LTE bands.

What is your existing plan? You cannot port out for next 90 days once the deadline is over. I guess that is 16 August for many circles. But you can terminate your connection or change it to prepaid any time. For the same, no need to call cc. Visit reliance mobile store. Also you can only migrate to existing tariff plans obviously. For others, other than high usage data plans, has RCom changed the existing CDMA plans after 4G migration ? I am from Mumbai circle and I am still billed for my existing CDMA plan (Magic 900 with 50% off on rent)

RCom 4G LTE postpaid voice and data plans (smart plans) updated now. Not appealing though !! Smart 249 has no free talk time or SMS, only 1 GB 4G data free.. Smart 449 also has no free talk time or SMS, only 2 GB 4G data free.. More reasons to port out !!

How about postpaid customers on Magic 1300 plan? What's the cap on 4G data usage?

Switch to RJio for true 4G ...??? Let the promotional offers settle down..Once the commercial ops start, only then you get a clear picture. To switch to RJio, MNP is not yet open.
