Such a thing happened with my brother's network card.. He had to uninstall an reinstall again and again the drivers for the same.. Please try it with a friend's computer also.. Sometimes the motherboard sends a power surge through the usb ports which could be the reason.. Also check the earthing of your power source at home.. I had the same problem of erratic behaviour when the phone was charging and connected to a plug which didn't have proper earthing..

GPS toolbox is good to work with epic because it had GPS connection errors.. Which is why in the earlier gingerbread builds you had to flash a gps mod to give proper response.. Let's hope this method works with all phones.. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2

Listing on ebay is a very good idea since ebay fees for CDMA phones is only 1% of final sale price. And it would also give the buyers a sense of security. -

Ya that is right.. Nobody will let you see what they do.. The guy told me that JTAG procedure supposedly uses a JTAG Box which he is planning to get but doesnt have as of now as it is costly and bricked phones seldom come for JTAG.. And the procedure is complex so there is also a chance that your device can get fried.. -
