  1. Ordered a Gionee M2 from ebay.in (for the big battery ofcourse). If anyones interested will do a quick review of the phone when it arrives (estimated date of delivery : 20th may).
  2. I just hope the processor isnt of the cortex A5 type, else the phone would be seriously slow. Also, the front of the phone, with that silver thing at the bottom, looks really really cheap.
  3. ^^If its without an sd card, its practically useless. Using moto g with 8gb memory I am having so many problems, limited apps, limited multimedia, needs cleaning every other day. Cant even imagine using a phone with 4gb memory (with usable just about 1.5gb).
  4. With all the imported phones we buy, we are used to no warranty I guess. The point being, moto phones have great quality and quality control both. So they dont tend to mess up easily. While thats not the case with these so called indian brands.

  6. Both the companies are equally new to me. And I am really hesitant to buy anything from these. But at that budget, I cant think of even a single handset even close to them in performance. Hence was looking to buy. Ive heard xolo phones are good quality. Any suggestions?
  7. Well... The new karbonn titanium s1 plus seems to me like the exact same phone as the lava iris 406q. Exact same specs, same button placement, same loudspeaker placement (same as earpiece), same battery n sim placements. Just the outer shell seems to be changed. Also, it manages to be still cheaper than the lava 406q!! Retailing for just 5.7k !!

  9. How is the battery life with mobile data for everyone here?? My battery life with mobile data on is around 2.5 hrs screen ON time (with very heavy use). While at home, screen ON time with wifi is 5+ hrs (with heavy use). N 6+ hrs screen ON time with light usage.
  10. ^^Hcc didnt work for my moto g as well (works fine on other handsets). *228 didnt work initially as well. Was a problem the way I programmed my moto g. ##3424# etc work fine though.

  12. Somebody tell me how to deactivate EVDO on my number?? Requesting at the WW is of no use because they dont understand crap. Earlier I didnt have EVDO active on my number and was having troubles activating it. So as suggested on this thread, sent a mail to Netconnect.Broadband@relianceada.com Now it says that my evdo is active. But my moto g is always working on 1x network even when i am in a good evdo network (Its not switching between evdo and 1x. Its constantly 1x only). I think Ive done the programming part correct. Any suggestions??

  14. After flashing the recovery (cwm)... when i try to boot into recovery (from fastboot)... Its shows an open android bot with a triangle saying no command. Not sure what that means. Maybe there is nothing in the recovery partition at the moment. Suggestions anyone? EDIT : Now working. Flashed the recovery partition again. This time twrp. And now rooted.

  16. Well... So many models are there...its hard to tell what method works on which model from xda. Could someone guide me or link me to the right place to root and install custom recovery on my boost moto g?? Still running 4.3. Just as it came.
  17. How can I deactivate my evdo service?? I am losing my balance without even using any service. I recently changed my handset n transferred the number on a sim. The number is active but when i send the msg to activate evdo i get a reply saying that your number isn't activated. any help??

  21. I am afraid u r wrong. I placed my order on the 3rd of march n they still havent shipped it. They have to ship it latest by the 13th. N then the delivery will take about 10 more days i guess.

    Valid on everything i guess. With all the coupons they generally specify that its not valid for deals etc... But this one doesnt say so. N it says FOR EXTRA 10% OFF...
