Today I received this message: "Dear Customer,we are upgrading to 4G. You may face intermittent network issues. We regret the inconvenience and seek support during this process. Thx RCOM". Looks like 4g will be activated soon, and yes cdma will continue for some time. If it was to be closed with 4g launch we all would have received communication in that regard to upgrade or port else your services will be discontinued. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

Every one wants to sell mobiles these days. If you are buying from a regular seller and importing through PPOBox, then they will contact your seller and try to purchase phones from him themselves. They have their own store on eBay so basically it is conflict of interest. -

My package stuck in ppo box NY since last 3 weeks. They are coming up with a new untenable excuse every day. I had a fear that they are trying to scam me by keeping the package themselves. Didn't know that they are facing customs issue. To me they say you can contnue to import more there won't be any issue which i didn't believe. God knows what's the truth. Use Truecaller. In Truecaller settings, enable caller id for phonebook contacts. -

@Chintan2312 You must know and understand that @parin is the final word when it comes to most of issues related with Reliance CDMA. You must take his comments seriously. Can you at least do a Google search and provide us a link where it says that i9500 is a global version of S4 ? You are in for a surprise, believe me.

CP logging option is not present any TW recovery. And I doubt it's presence in Stock LG G3 recovery as well. Probably @KMC251 posted on basis of his experience with Samsung Phones. Wait for a day, I'll check in my G3. It is updated to Lollipop and gets discovered in DFS. I'll note what settings does it takes.

The chinese refurbishers are now very smart, they modify the builld prop file so that even the about section and phone's imei (modified to 35xxx series) will match with that on back sticker. However the motherboard is still a refurbiushed or clone verizon motherboard. The only way to detect afaik is to put th ephone in download mode. In that case the top line shows the model of the board which in most cases matches with Verizon model (I545)

SnS has gone to dogs lately. Delhi customs is worse than Mumbai Customs (not that Mumbai is easy, but Delhi customs are worse) when it comes to clearance and valuation of mobile phones and in last one year Sns has not taken any step to revert to Mumbai for clearance. PPOBox and SnS are biggest competitors, since SnS increased duty rates duty to extra SAD levied by Delhi customs PPOBox also followed suite. As always they didn't give any BOE or clearance documents. I am sure after a week or 10 days PPOBox will also increase rates. -
Then We are probably out of luck here unless gurus suggest some solution. MEID registration is beyond reach for most of us.

Thanks a lot to Dr. for the proper solution. Now we can unlock without downgrade. @Dhaval, in Note Edge Sprint only RG series sim works for CDMA. -
Flash TWRP for Sprint Note 4 ( TWRP for Note edge not available), disable screen timeout in TWRP settings. After that, flash this in recovery https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95832962473397407

I don't know why you have facing this issue, I have successfully downgraded a Note Edge to kitKat Nk1 for unlocking purpose. Make sure you are using the correct tar file, I mean it is not corrupted while download.

Even in sprint S5, direct Odin downgrade is possible to 4.4, at present. I have tested it successfully. -

ohk, thanks for the info. Searched the web only to find that iPhone config utility is no longer supported by apple and may not work on iOS8. For new iPhones they want us to use Apple configurator which unfortunately is not available on windows platform. Will do more research and update the thread as I find more info. Other users are also requested to chip in with whatever useful information they get so together we may find the solution to this unique problem. -
