    FIX for people who have installed TWRP and stuck after OTA update Source If you see TWRP everytime you boot after OTA update, Follow the code below. VERY IMPORTANT: CODES HAVE TO BE TYPED EXACTLY AS SHOWN WITH SPACES & PUNCTUATION, ONE SMALL MISTAKE CAN GIVE YOU A HARD UNRECOVERABLE BRICK. You should have ADB access, connect phone and use this command. Code: adb shell dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota of=/sdcard/fota-backup.img dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota After all the code is sent, use TWRP menu to reboot the phone. or use adb reboot command. If you dont have ADB, then use TWRP terminal command and follo the code below. Code: dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota Reboot

    I personally have not tried it, but many have confirmed RUIM to work, some have claimed data does not work on Sprint.

Credit to it's original developer... http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=2596175 Finally managed to unlock GSM part of LG G2 LS980 Root Required Install Rom Tool Box Lite Run Rom Tool Box Lite and select Build.prop editor ro.carrier=spr (NOT SPR) ro.build.target_operator=spr (NOT SPR) persist.service.crash.enable=1 save, exit and reboot. Its as simple as that. GOT THE DATA TO WORK Install Telinfo from playstore and use it switch between GSM SIM and CDMA NV

    Got the ZVA UPDATE, confused how to update. Lot of apps frozen. Root and the build.prop edit. The reason I'm confused is because lot of G2 have been bricked or stuck at bootloop, ZVA update is nothing but Sprint Spark update. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

    Programming is one time, custom Rom installation is not programming. By your above statement you proved that you have no clue about flashing devices. I suggest you stay stock and get the phone programmed FOR now. Learn about rooting devices, custom recovery installation & everything related to modifying any phone.
