  1. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Yes, main balance is intact. I don't trust Reliance, that's why have Rs. 2.5 in main balance, thankfully Reliance is not interested to take that as of now.
  2. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Another strange thing, used 2G & 3G (on Aircel) data for around 50 MB but data balance remains at 9216 MB. Still not be able to latch on their 4G network.
  3. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Thanks @ajay16 for noticing this, I also received. I think, that's the post LTE migration benefit. Probably RCOM means post-migration is conversion from CDMA to LTE, not when we start to use 4G.
  4. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

How did you check data balance? USSD, Self Care App or any other way? SIM Latching to Reliance 4G? checked after getting 9GB data? By the way, 92160 MB is equal to 90 GB
  5. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

I think they will allow the conversion to Prepaid. No one can force you to stick to Postpaid without your wish but RCOM's approach is very unethical, that's the saddest part. You can argue that you are no longer required Rs. 1000+ plan, either show alternative low rental plan or switch to prepaid.
  6. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

You can try to move to Prepaid first then after 90 days switch operator via MNP. In this way you can save monthly rental and your number too.
  7. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

No, I don't think using Tata Docomo network will incur any roaming charges. Here in UP East, RGSM is very bad in coverage and unstable. Most of the time it latches to Aircel network which is slightly better than RGSM, using it for making voice calls & data, since CDMA to 4G migration and no roaming charges were taken.
  8. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

RCOM 4G is live in Varanasi, Allahabad & most likely in Lucknow & Kanpur also from last couple of days but couldn't latch using CDMA to LTE migrated SIM. Don't know about WiPods are started working. If any one has any further information, please share.
  9. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

I am using LYF Flame1, bought under Jio Preview offer.
  10. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Reliance 4G Network is now live in Varanasi, UP East. But unable to latch.
  11. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

While making a call, check if network is falling back to 2G or 3G to complete the call or while receiving call, does network latch back to 2G or 3G from 4G? Secondly, if you have VoLTE Phone, the call will go through without any 2G/3G fall back.
  12. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

You are latched to Aircel's 3G network, in UPE RCOM has tied up with Aircel to provide 3G under ICRA. Speed it very slow, Aircel's network is equally bad as RGSM.
  13. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Hi! RSN is not the OMH SIM number, it is the serial number of your CDMA phone. Most likely it is mentioned in the back side or below the battery chamber. Use that number along with your CDMA number to register your new 4G Sim for migration at RCOM website.
  14. Reliance CDMA Shutting down

Reliance CDMA is shutting down on 31st May in UP East circle.
  15. Reliance CDMA Shutting down

Indeed BSNL CDMA is very good option but coverage is not upto the mark, relatively less towers than their GSM service as per my experience. Few years ago BSNL gave CDMA handsets to their field staffs (lineman etc.) for communication, sadly all returned back due lack of coverage. Secondly, it is very hard to find proper plan, stv etc. online. Online recharge site e.g., Paytm, Freecharge, some time work and some time don't. BSNL yet to integrate CDMA recharge service to their recharge/bill payment portal. I have used TATA CDMA and ended up getting negative balance. Customer care told that their prepaid billing system is laggy.
