CeBIT 2008: SE Unveils Stylish Slider Sony Ericsson has unveiled the T303, an attractive phone that is small with a high-end feel as it has a mirrored screen, metal housing and chrome finish. This slider has features that include Bluetooth and USB connectivity, Sony’s TrackID feature and an integrated FM radio. It also supports GPRS. The T303 is equipped with a 1.8 inch display that has a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to support any external memory. "The T303 is a great addition to the Sony Ericsson T-line of products, combining premium finish and materials with a good feature-set to deliver ‘style with substance’." said Lykke Tærsbøl, Senior Designer at the Sony Ericsson Creative Design Center. "Our aim was to create a phone that would function equally as a daily companion as well as something to show off on a night out." The T303 will be available in selected markets from mid 2008, though there's no mention of any pricing yet.

Nokia, Microsoft To Bring Silverlight To Mobiles
Honest posted a topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
Nokia, Microsoft to bring Silverlight to Mobiles Nokia today announced plans to make Microsoft Silverlight available for S60 on Symbian OS, while the availabilty for Series 40 devices and Nokia Internet tablets ill be confirmed at a later date. Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform plug-in for delivering next-generation media experiences and rich interactive applications. "Today's consumers are very clear in what they want: easy access to tightly integrated services and data on any device," said Lee Williams, Senior Vice President in Nokia's Devices software organization. "Nokia's software strategy is based on cross-platform development environments, enabling the creation of rich applications across the Nokia device range. Nokia aims to support market leading and content rich internet application environments and to embrace and encourage open innovation. By working with Microsoft, we are creating terrific opportunities and additional choices for the development community, S60 licensees and the industry as a whole." Microsoft will demonstrate Silverlight on S60 during the opening keyote at Microsoft's MIX08 conference on March 5 in Las Vegas. Silverlight is intended to be available to S60 developers later this year with initial service delivery anticipated shortly thereafter for all S60 licensees. This will allow S60 application developers to use an even wider range of development environments for S60 on Symbian OS than today. Today S60 developers can use: C++ (using native Symbian OS APIs and Open C providing subset of standard POSIX libraries), S60 Web Run-time (supporting standards-based web technologies such as Ajax, JavaScript, CSS and HTML), the Java language, Flash Lite from Adobe, and Python. "This is an important relationship on so many levels. Working with Nokia means we are easily able to reach a huge number of mobile users, including customers of all S60 licensees. This is a significant step in gaining broad acceptance for Silverlight and ensuring it is platform agnostic. This is critical since we want to make sure developers and designers don't have to constantly recreate the wheel and build different versions of applications and services for multiple operating systems, browsers and platforms," said S. Somasegar, Senior Vice President of Microsoft's Developer Division. -

^^^ @sehrawat Merey Pyaare Mitr, hum log jyadatar COM1 use kerte hain. Shukriya.

^^^ My dear friends, I think normal dial-up connection would be sufficient instead of subscribing to this plan for low internet users. Otherwise their is a good chance that the innocent subscribers who will take this plan with such a good speed of upto 2 mbps can cross their limit and end up in paying huge bills to BSNL. Regards.

Delhi Gears Up For Mobile Asia 2008

Motorola Shows They're Still in The Game Motorola also had plenty to show off at their Mobile Asia 2008 booth. From their CDMA handsets to the MOTOYUVA entry-level handsets to a 24 karat gold Moto RAZR V8 they were all there. Whatever we saw at GSMA World Mobile Congress in Barcelona, they brought them all out to show their Indian fans that they were still around and kicking. Among the phones that were on display, was Z10 slider. This Banana like slider is a perfect fit for most (if not all) heads. The phone is designed to fit and flex a bit to fit your era and cheek. Its 3 megapixel, autofocus camera with xenon flash is better than decent and its scratch resistant display is perfect for clumsy types. Also on display was the E8 with the touch sensitive keypad that is intuitive enough to change in accordance with the music player and camera. What that means is only specific keys will light up depending on the active application. The screen was a bit small (but superbly clear) though, it was told that was due to the scroll wheel. -
^^^ @Arun My dear friend, is it possible to add an option for "Other GSM Handsets" also ? Regards.
-
^^^ @sampat My dear friend, different mobile companys offer different features in their mobiles according to the needs of different people. In LG KG300 (GSM), their is an Intelligent Call Alert feature. This feature enables the phone to repeat the number which is pressed on the phone in Human Voice. Not only this the phone also repeats the full number of the incoming call. That way this feature is very very beneficial to visually challenged persons. Regards.

Reliance Communications To Offer Lifetime Connection For Rs 199!
Honest replied to vmsanghrajka's topic in Reliance Communications
^^^ My dear friends, its been said that "SOMETHING IS BETTER THEN NOTHING". I think this Vodafone offer will be very beneficial for some of its subscribers. Hopes that it should be launched nationwide by Vodafone. As KumaarShah also said above, still Reliance is better then its rivals. Regards. -
^^^ Its rediculous my dear friends. This matter should be reported to TRAI. Reliance is not above TRAI. They have to abide by the rules. Regards.
-
^^^ Well, my dear friends, this plan will only be better for those who use internet to send and view only Emails. Otherwise its a costly factor for those who use the net at the maximum. Regards.
