  1. Cdma Handsets

^^^ @sampat My dear friend, in my point of view also LG RD3100 can be the best bet as far as the battery life is concerned. This handset has FM and the battery backup of this handset is magnificent. And yes as KumaarShah told above its price is Rs.1700/-. Regards.
  2. Softwares For N6265

  3. Emergecy Services

^^^ @kesav Thanks for the news my dear friend. This is really a very useful service especially for women & children as Kumaar also said above. Hope this kind of service is launched by all operators. In my point of view, TRAI should make this service mandatory for all mobile operators. Regards.
  4. Ztc S688

^^^ @Piyush My dear friend, you need not to restart the phone to be recognise by your pc. You have to only shut it down. As soon as you shut down your mobile, it will be recognized by your pc as an external storage device. And you can transfer the data from pc to mobile and vice versa. You have to keep your mobile phone in "ON" condition when you are using gprs service. And when you need to use your mobile as a storage device then you have to switch it "OFF". Regards.
  5. ^^^ @copperco2 My dear friend, my friend is using the hathway connection from the last 2-3 years without having any hassles. Even whenever I visit his office, I never seen his connection down. Almost perfect services was given by hathway in Lower Parel. My friend's office is near the Zee News office at N. M. Joshi Marg. In my point of view, their seems not to have much problems with hathway in Mumbai. Apart from this small and little problems are always their with all operators, whether it is Sify, MTNL, TATA, Reliance, etc. Regards.
  6. @Copperco2 MY dear friend, I think Hathway has already its services in Lower Parel. As one of my friend, in lower parel is using the hathway internet from the last two years without any problems. Their is a possibility that they had started their prepaid services now. Previously they are having only postpaid service in lower parel. Anyway the plan seems to be good as compared to other service providers. Regards.
  7. What Can I Do For This

^^^ @chandannasta My dear friend, as rakesh above also suggested that going for a good second hand pc will be beneficial for you. If you try to put new additional parts in your current pc then surely you will face the compatibility issue. Regards.

  9. Intex Intros Under 2K Phone Intex has introduced its IN 2020, a user-friendly mobile phone that claims a long-life battery with a stand-by time of 25 days, and non-stop conversation for up to seven and a half hours. The phone is, of course, targeted at those who spend long hours on their mobile making and receiving calls. Intex claims the IN 2020 is possibly the first mobile phone in the market with such a high battery capacity. Possibly a corollary of this feature is that users don't have to charge the phone on an everyday basis. Also included are features like a blacklist facility and a phone book memory of 500 numbers. There's also a unique feature called "Make your song your ring tone", wherein users can record up to two songs in five minutes, making those songs their ring tones. The phone comes with pre-loaded sing tones from Tips Industries' Top 20 songs listing, eight games, and twin language support to allow menu display and messaging in Hindi as well as English. An enthusiastic Shailendra Jha, business manager (Mobile Phones) of Intex, said at the launch that with the price of the phone, they hope to strike the right chord with both mid- and lower-end consumer segments, which form approximately 60 to 70 percent of the entire mobile phone market across rural and urban areas of the country. The Bar-shaped IN 2020 is available in Suave Red-Black and Orange-Black combos, and retails for under Rs 2,000. My dear friends, in my point of view this phone is definetely going to be a boon at the price mentioned. Battery life seems to be magnificent. Regards.
  10. ^^^ My dear friends, I think on behalf of its battery life only, this handset will fetch up the sales. As many of us don't like to charge the battery now and then. Regards.
  11. ^^^ @Narayan Kutty My dear friend, I always think a 100 times before posting any material here. I didn't made any mistake so their is no need to rectify it. Actually, in front of my eyes a prominent mobile operator's tower had been digged out due to irregularities made in placing the tower at illegal space. On the other side I want to add what you had told for may be applicable to the land which belongs to regional authorities / governement. But if an operator place a tower in private land illegaly then what ? You has rightly said that the proper permission is to be sought from concerned authorities but at the same time I would like to state that this permission is not always taken from authorities from these mobile operators, which is a must. Thats why I had told that many mobile operators install towers in illegal locations / space. And to prove my words, I think the below mentioned news will be sufficient. In which not a single but almost many operators had been blamed for placing the illegal towers. And in my point of view try some googling before posting / blaming anyone on the forum. Blaming falsely anyone will only loose your reputation on the forum. I do respect your views, but the truth is far behind of your knowledge. We are eager to read your views on the forum, do post your views but do not blame anyone until and unless you have sufficient proof my dear friend. I think after reading this you yourself would feel sorry for your words. Now what do you say my dear friend ? Still you say that I take my words back ? Or you yourself is feeling sorry for blaming me wrongly. Here is the proper link for the news : 235 Illegal Mobile Towers in the City Regards.
  12. Ztc S688

^^^ My dear friend, it may be possible that the camera of this handset is 1.3 MP but the seller saying it as 2 MP due to the feature in which the 1.3 MP camera's resolution can be interpolated upto 2 MP with the help of digital zoom. Many sellers try this trick to misguide the customers. And for the data cable problem, what exactly the error message are you getting on your pc ? You can also try bluetooth instead of data cable to transfer files from mobile to pc and vice-versa. Regards.
  13. Motorola Unveils Hydrogen Cell Mobile Battery What if you could power your mobile phone with nothing more than good old H2O? That would really be something! Angstrom Power and teammate Motorola seem to have developed a way to power cellphones with a hydrogen fuel cell. Of course, it's still in the testing phase, with a prototype, but the concept is certainly interesting. Imagine, all you’ll need to do is fill up your cellphone with water – and voila, it’ll start working again. Angstrom has already developed an LED flashlight that runs on a similar concept of a hydrogen fuel cell. The good thing is perhaps we can look forward to a cleaner planet in the not-so-distant future.
  14. ^^^ Wow thats a great news my dear friends. This could be helpful and beneficial to many of us. Regards.
  15. New Cdma Handsets From Nokia

  16. Nokia 1325 Worst Phone

^^^ @Robin Chopra My dear friend, Nokia is going to be nuts in the near future. My suggestion is that you must go to the near service centre of Nokia and clear the doubt if your battery must be faulty or not. Regards.
  17. ^^^ Another delay on spectrum allocation is really a very bad news my dear friends. And yes as Kumaar also told above, now these GSM gangsters will leech the booty upto the end of this year. Regards.
  18. Nokia 6151

^^^ @ziya My dear friend, in Rimweb member profile only CDMA handsets which support Reliance can be selected as your handset. Their is no option for GSM handsets to be picked up. Regards.
  19. Lightweight Color Phone.

^^^ @Vishal Kumar My dear friend, their is no such news as of now for the discontinuation of this handset with Reliance. Regards.
  20. Informations About Coolpad288

^^^ @omprakash Oh my dear friend, it seems to be really very very slow connection. But did you find our what exactly is responsible for this slow connection ? Is it the Handset ? Or is it the Airtel GPRS service ? By the way I'm using Vodafone GPRS without Edge facility now a days. And I'm quite happy with its speed. Regards.
  21. ^^^ My dear friends, as Arun told above that certain standards should be followed by operators to install the towers. But I don't think they still follow all rules. Many mobile operators do install their towers in illegal locations also. So how can we expect from the operator to follow the rules in erecting the tower, if the operator itself broke the rules in placing it on the right place. Regards.
  22. ^^^ @madmpsc My dear friend, can you tell us what exactly you are trying to say ? Directly say in clear and simple words.
  23. ^^^ Truely said my dear Ashok. It will be a huge success as soon as it will be lauched. Regards.
  24. MTNL Soft Launches Mobile TV Service Subscribers of the MTNL (Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited) 'Unlimited Plan' and of MTNL GPRS-enabled handsets -- who're based in the capital -- will now be able to watch live television on their handsets. The reason: the state-run behemoth has announced the soft launch of its mobile TV service in Delhi. Initially, MTNL customers will be able to watch seven TV channels on their GPRS-enabled mobile handsets till the commercial launch of the service, which is slated for April this year. Five of the seven TV channels are free channels; users will have to pay a minimum of Rs 50 per month to access these on their mobile handsets. As regards the remaining 'paid' TV channels, customers will have to pay the necessary amount per channel. MTNL Executive Director, A K Arora, said out of the 15 lakh-odd MTNL users in Delhi, nearly 25,000 have GPRS-enabled mobile phones. For customers to be able to watch live TV on their mobile handsets, the handsets must be GPRS-enabled; supported by Symbian operating system (OS); having a minimum phone memory of 2MB; along with Real Player application.
