@saugatadc My dear friend, you are 100% right that this facility is available with TATA, i do agree. But as the starter of this thread has posted the thread in Reliance Mobile / Reliance Hello Discussion > Reliance Mobile World / R World forum, so it clearly represents that he is querrying about the Reliance network and not of any other service provider. As their is no such kind of service available with Reliance till date. Thats why I answered his query in a BIG "NO". Anyways, your comments can be very useful to many TATA subscribers. As many of them don't know about this service availability in TATA. But after reading your post they will surely get benefitted. And obviously I'm eagerly waiting for the same service to be started by Reliance also. Lets wait for the best to happen in Reliance also. Regards.

Fee For Cellphone Bill Hard Copy Draws Fire
Honest replied to coolrajiv's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
^^^ My dear friends, its truely said that service providers in other sectors like POWER, GAS & WATER doesn't charge extra for the hard copies of the bills, then what the hell these crazy cell operators trying to do. They had already dugged a deep hole in our pockets, and now they even can't manage to send the hard copies of the bills to their customers. Only God knows, when did this greed of the cell operators come to an end. It seems they are going NUTS now a days. Regards. -

@srikanth My dear friend, all second hand mobiles which are available in the markets are not stolen mobiles. I do agree that some of them can be. But this does not mean one should not buy a second hand mobile. One must by the second hand stuff from the reputed shops or known persons only. I don't think their is any harm in purhcasing a second hand mobile. Regards.

Google Intros Maps for Mobile v2.0 Google has released version 2.0 of 'Google Maps for mobile', its innovative mobile mapping- and local search- application. And, Google Maps for mobile v2.0 is a beta version of the Google "My Location" technology that uses cell tower ID information to provide users with their approximate location, thus helping them determine where they are, what's around them, and how to get there. GPS technology is the most common source of location information till date. But, it is supported on less than 15 percent mobile phones sold today. Google's "My Location" technology is such that users who don't have GPS-enabled mobile phones, will also be able to get the benefit of location information. "My Location" technology is claimed to be faster than GPS; besides being able to cover the inside of buildings unlike GPS; and results in slower drainage of batteries vis-a-vis GPS. How "My Location" works is by taking information broadcast from cell towers, and sifting through it using Google's algorithms to estimate a user's current location on the map. The "My Location" feature can be disabled if not required. "My Location" technology is available on most smart phones; including all color BlackBerry devices, all Symbian Series 60 3rd Edition devices, most Windows Mobile devices, newer Sony Ericsson devices, and some Motorola devices. Google Maps for mobile with "My Location" can be downloaded by pointing one's mobile or desktop Web browser to www.google.com/gmm. The full range of mobile products/services available from Google is viewable at mobile.google.com. Meanwhile, 'Google Maps for mobile' was first launched in the US in November 2005, and enables users to view interactive maps and satellite imagery, find local businesses, get point-to-point driving directions, and view live traffic updates -- all -- while on the go.

@Arun Yes my dear friend, you are 100% right, that Local Repair Shops would be good for Minor Repairs but for Major Repair work one should approach the service centre only. @amtrag Yes my dear friends, I too feel that LG service centre is 100% better than the NOKIA service centres. Their are many complaints for Nokia service centre even in our beloved forum also. Regards.

@gskfin My dear friend, please read the fine print before buying this handset. As this could be manufactured by a Korean company but assembled in China.
