  6. S60 Gets Its Own YouTube Application YouTube is one of the best things since, well... Toothpaste! This is a site that, we, in this day and age, as internet junkies want to have accessible from every mode of communication if possible. Having it easily accessible on your mobile device is not a new concept. Apple has already seen to that with a direct link to on their iPhone and iPod Touch. Symbian users I’m sure didn’t want to be left out so a gentleman named Sebastian Jedruszkiewicz developed emTube. emTube is a freeware that’s been developed for the S60 3rd Edition platform. Its interface is very user-friendly and simplistic in its form and appearance. The application will allow users to search, view and even save videos onto their mobile device. The downloaded files are stored as flash video files (.flv) which can be played back using the same application. The developer has thought of everything. Currently there are two versions out. One is for normal S60 users and the second is designed with the N95 specifically in mind. Depending on your connection speed it will take a while from videos to buffer, but the file can be downloaded as soon as it starts to play. All videos can also be played back in landscape mode as well for better viewing. The rotation is courtesy of the N95's accelerometer. YouTube fans and S60 third edition or N95 users can download the application from here Regards.

  9. Lg 5130 Sensitivity

^^^ My dear friend, in my suggestion first of all you must take your handset to your nearest LG service centre. Then only plan for the new handset. As LG 5130 is a good handset. If their is minor problem then sure it will be resolved at a minimum charges. And their is no way to improve the signal strength. As you told that other people at your office are able to make and receive calls through their respective handsets. Than surely it seems that their's a problem with your handset. Service centre guys will help you better. Regards.
  10. Serial Port Connection For Bluetooth Dongle..

^^^ My dear friend, it might be possible that your phone does not support serial port connection. You can check for the SPP Profile in the Bluetooth's settings menu of your phone. Regards.
  11. ^^^ @KumaarShah You are right my dear friend. The free SMS's from Rcom are for mobile to mobile only. They charge the regular sms rates if the sms is sent to any landline number. And these micro sms packs seems to be very costly. Still it can be beneficial for those who use to send sms's to a limited number of peope. Regards.
  12. ^^^ @vikasmahajanz Mahajan Sahab, whatever you say, you too knows that this is totally the illegal procedure. The CD key of which you are telling that it is used by worldwide in school and colleges to teach students installation and uninstallation of windows xp was meant to use for those who had paid for it. Not for us. Anyways, as now, the CD Key is already been removed from your post, now we don't have any problems with your post. Your views are always welcome on rimweb but my dear friend please try to avoid posting these types of threads, through which your reputation on the forum can be destroyed. Regards.
  13. @KumaarShah My dear friend, I 100% agree to you that all other members who have reported here, have given a negative response. But their is no member from Mumbai, who posted a negative response. In mumbai, this service is available for sure. I regularly dial the above number (*222) on my Postpaid FWP. I already told that this is a new service and started in Mumbai in the first phase. All other regions must be on testing phase. Hope you too among with all our dear rimweb members will also enjoy this service soon. But I can't say how much time it will take. Lets wait for the best to happen my dear friend. Regards.
  14. ^^^ But my dear friends, if this 10% discount is on the printed price than it will be useless. As all the handsets are already available below the printed price in the market. And if this 10% discount comes on the final rates which Web Worlds normally provide to the customers than surely these coupons could be very helpful. As we never can expect lower prices then offered in Web Worlds itself. Regards.
  15. ^^^ My dear friends, this number is working fine in Mumbai till now. I regularly use *222 to check my unbilled amount and other details. And the best benefit of this number is that we get connected to the CC within a minute. No more long ques. Hope other regions also will get the same soon. Regards.

  19. Apple iPhone To Record Video One of the bigger issues with the Apple iPhone that made everyone on the planet go 'What the...?' was the fact that this Super phone had a camera, great, but not only was it a simple point and shoot with no settings, it was also devoid of video recording capabilities. That is now about to stand corrected. Although it is NOT Apple who has revamped the camera but a third part application that will provide this facility. A beta version of the iPhone video recording application was developed by the Monster and Friends. The latest update tells us that the application, although has it’s limitations due to the iPhone’s RAM, is able to record videos at a frame rate of 40-45 fps with no recording limit. Such was not the case with the earlier version. Kudos to the developer and let’s just say we’re looking forward to a lot more from him. You can download the iPhone video recording application here.
  20. Nokia Enrages Users With N-Gage Launch Mobile slash gaming enthusiasts who have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Nokia’s latest N-Gage platform will be happy to know that it will be launching next week. While that’s definitely good news, here’s some bad news. Although the N95 and N95 8GB also have the N-Gage option built in, it’ll do them no good. The application is totally useless as the platform will be launching only for the N81 handset. That includes the 8GB version as well. Why Nokia has chosen this cockeyed way to launch it eludes us completely. Let’s hope they have a change of heart ASAP.

  23. Now Try before you Buy a Phone! Those looking to check out mobile phones before zeroing-in on what to buy can go check tryphone.com It's an interesting and interactive new service enabling consumers try before making a buy. With 'Tryphone', customers can try their hands on interactive virtual handsets also referred to as phone simulators, test-drive mobile devices and applications. Users can get an overview of the phone, along with reviews, technical specifications, and demos. They can even try out important functions by actually making calls, taking photographs, adding contacts, or sending text messages. The technology in use here is 'Direct to Device', which employs a combination of hardware and software that connects directly to mobile handsets. Users can then control these handsets via software over the Internet, essentially remotely operating physical handsets. Presently in its beta verison, 'TryPhone' supports only four handsets, which include Apple's iPhone, LG Muziq, Blackberry Pearl, and Samsung Juke. However, the company plans to add new handsets every week. To experience this interactive service, customers can visit www.tryphone.com.
