  4. Unlimited Internet On Mtnl Garuda

^^^ @C. Mahendra My dear friend, I don't know what Garuda provides now a days on their prepaid services but previously they do provide Internet services on prepaid also @ 0.10 per 30KB. As you told that you had called 1502 and confirmed that they are not providing internet services on prepaid. Here please note that CC of MTNL is much more worst than Reliance. They are no good at all. Once I called them for an enquiry of internet service with Garuda. I asked them about the package contents / accessories of Garuda FW. I asked them does data cable for internet comes free with Garuda FW handset. The executive asked me "WHAT DO YOU MEEN BY DATA CABLE ? WHAT IS DATA CABLE ?" Hope that I should not say anything further for this. You must confirm from the exchange itself for 100% surity. Anybody using Garuda Aajeevan 699/- which is recently launched, can you tell us about the packaged contents. Means does we get Data cable with this FW or we have to purchase it seperately from the exchange. Actually in Delhi, MTNL people are selling the data cable for a fee of Rs.100/- extra apart from the cost of Garuda handset. And in the last I want to state one more thing. Some of my friends are using Garuda for Internet at good speeds after PINGING the connection. PING method could be of great use for Garuda users. Regards.
  5. Reliance At Its Best

^^^ My dear friends if this behaviour of Reliance's staff continues than surely the day is not so far when Reliance will be at the backfoot. Now a days when you call Reliance CC and hear even the voice of the CC executive, you will have the experience. No assence in the voice at all. Silly stupid staff procured by Reliance. Not all are like this but 90% of them are really stupid. Telling stupid things to us. See this : One day I called to enquire about the USB data card. The CC executive told me that Reliance doesn't have any USB Data Card. Now you can imagine that what is the future of Reliance with all these stupid executives which claims to provide world class services. Regards.
  6. My dear friends, like Airtel Vodafone also had introduced Unlimited Data Access (GPRS service) @ Rs.19/- per day for its Prepaid subscribers of Chennai and Tamil Nadu Circles. At Rs.19/- a day it looks a little bit costly. But as under this plan we get unlimited data usage for 24hrs, so many subscribers will get benefited from this. Hopes Vodafone will come with these kinds of unlimited data usage plans throughout India. Regards.
  7. Battery Tweaks

^^^ @niral sutaria My dear friend if you are happy with the current performance of your handset's battery than there's no need to do these experiments. Regards.

  9. Buying A Gsm Handset

^^^ @GSV13 And my dear friend please do inform us when you purchase this new handset. And share your experience with the same on Rimweb. Regards.
  10. ^^^ Now it seems to be a tough fight for GSM operators. Lets see what Reliacne comes with for the benefit of its subscribers. In all, GSM users will be benefited the most. Regards.
  11. ^^^ Yes my dear friends this biggest cell operator of the world is looting customers all over India in every circle. Not only its network is not as good as Airtels but their Tariffs and GPRS scheems too are very costly than other cell operators. Just see, Rs.19 x 30 comes to Rs.570/- a month with speeds as compared to a BULLOCK CART (mere 84 kbps). VODAFONE must change its policy otherwise they will be on the backfoot soon. Regards.
  12. How To Check Netconnect Usage?

^^^ @jassikhat You are 100% right my dear friend. All details you got from the Reliance site is 100% correct. Regards.
  13. Reliance Netconnect Vs Tata Plug2surf

^^^ @C. Mahendra My dear friend actually Airtel's Network rocks throughout the Mumbai-Pune Express Highway. No doubt Airtel's Network is quite good throughout the country except some odd locations. Well we at Rimweb are waiting for your comments / experience about Airtel's EDGE throughout the country. Regards.
  14. Reliance Netconnect Vs Tata Plug2surf

^^^ My dear friends actually C. Mahendra is right at his point. Airtel is providing speeds upto 247 kbps on their EDGE enabled data cards. Actually in EDGE we get 3 times more speeds than GPRS. And not only Airtel but also VODAFONE too is providing the same speeds of upto 247 kbps with their EDGE enabled data cards which costs nearly Rs.5000/-. Regards.
  15. ^^^ My dear friends, "ALL THAT GLITTERS, IS NOT GOLD". Regards.
  16. ^^^ Yes my dear friends, Airtel broadband could be the best choice as compared to these USB modems as per as the mobility is not concerned. Regards.
  17. @C. Mahendra My dear friend my information is 100% correct about the GPRS tariffs of Vodafone. You can check the same at the following link. In this link you can even get the settings for GPRS. http://www.vodafone.in/vbs/pages/mobileconnect.aspx Regards.
  18. My dear friends in my point of view this matter must be taken very seriously. I don't know why our government is not taking strict actions on this cell operators which are issuing these sim cards in fake names without any proper verifications. Is the government waiting for another disaster to happen ? Actually in this type of case only innocent people have to face the problems which they even can't think about that this can happen to them also. Regards.
  19. Buying A Gsm Handset

^^^ Well said my dear Ashok Bhai. Regards.
  20. How To Check Netconnect Usage?

@jasmeet Yes my dear friend you have to register first on Reliance's website and then only you can view the details of your unbilled data / voice usage from their. Regards.
  21. Rsurf

^^^ My dear friends, as R-surf is back now, this will be of great help to some of its users surely. Regards.
  22. ^^^ @C Mahendra My dear friend, when I called CC of Vodafone they told me that they provide EDGE only on their EDGE DATA CARD which costs nearly Rs.5000/-. And in advance GPRS in which we can surf the net from our PC their system can provide only a maximum speed upto 84 kbps. They doesn't have good speeds in GPRS nor they have good plans like Airtel (unlimited usage plans). They have only 3 plans for advance usage : 1. Plan 199 : Pay as per usage 5 paise per 10 Kb. 2. Plan 499 : 500 MB free usage. And 5 paise per 10 Kb further. 3. Plan 699 : 1 GB free usage. And 5 paise per 10 Kb further. Silly Vodafone doesn't have unlimited plans at all. I think VODAFONE superiors are sleeping yet. They will only wake-up when their all subscribers shift to AIRTEL. Regards.
  23. BIRTHDAY WISHES!

Many Many Happy Returns of the day my dear Ashok.
  24. Help.....for Nok 2112....?

  25. Vista Log On Problem - --lsi-110

^^^ My dear friend, in my opinion this seems to be a network problem. The signals in your area must be very week, I think. As you told that you are getting the Time-out error. So one thing is clear that there is no problems with Vista. The only problem seems to be with the network. Regards.
