Nice initiative taken by Reliance my dear friends. -
@kaushik My dear friend, in my point of view nearly all the programmes which you had mentioned will work under vista. If you get any problems working with these programmes than you must install these softwares under compatibility mode of "Windows XP SP2". No problems with Photoshop CS, Corel 12 & 13, Pagemaker 7. Regards.

@Bimal My dear friend ringtone is the main problem in nearabout all the phones from Classic. Near all Classic models have low Ringtones. It is near to impossible to hear the ring if you are in a crowded area. One question. Does this phone has Vibration mode ? Regards.

Mobile Internet, Edge+gprs Is Much More Faster Than Cdma
Honest replied to cmahendra's topic in Data services
^^^ @sachinrocks Yes my dear friend you are 100% correct. Idea can offer you some cheaper plans. But at the same time you have to confirm this also that if the GPRS speed is alike as of Airtel. I have heard that the Airtel is providing better speeds. Apart from them if your usage is not high and speed doesn't matters you than you must go for Idea itself. Final decision maker is you only. Regards. -
@gauravjc Yes my dear friend, the story of availability of fully unlocked Iphones in Mumbai is now quite old at Rimweb. We at Rimwed get the information about the products even before their launch. Regards.

^^^ @saketsamir My dear friend I don't think their is any harm for discussing about this handset here in rimweb. Regards.

Try searching this forum and you will get the procedure to manually setting up your LG RD5340 as a modem to surf the net. No need of Rconnect software. @saketsamir My dear friend at LG website he will get only drivers for his phone and not Rconnect sofware. Regards.

@KumaarShah Thanks a lot my dear friend. Actually now I got habitual to all this. Earlier we all had wasted our precious time for calling and complaining and waiting time is also very high. You too remember those days when Reliance CC put you on wait for nearly half an hour. Know I decided not to compromise with them (all operators). I had taken many benefits from Hutch also. The recent is Rs.100/- money back offer for 12 months only against a silly mistake which was made by a Hutch shop guy. Actually Hutch shop guy given me the wrong information on some services and offers. After that I found the infomation was wrong. Than I filed the complaint and told them that I will surrender my postpaid number if the said offer was not given to me. The Relationship officer of Hutch told me that is impossible. Than I asked them to offer something else. First they offered me CLIP for 6 months, that I denied because CLIP was already free on my Hutch number for 6 months (I got this free clip 3 months back under negotiations). Then the officer told me that he can offer me money back facility of Rs.100/- for 12 months. I had also taken 3 months free CLIP service from Hutch when their NETWORK was down for full two days in the time of FLOODS IN MUMBAI. Actually all these operators had looted us a lot. You must remember the time when mobile services in India launched and we had payed them Rs.16/- per minute incoming and outgoing charges. And all this with monthly Rental of Rs.600/- at that time. Now the time has come for us, the users. We can't let them take us as granted. That's why whereever and whenever I got the chance to fight / negotiate with this Corporates, I never missed a chance. So all my dear friends remember one thing : NEVER ALLOW THESE CELL OPERATORS TO TAKE YOU AS GRANTED. Regards.

Videocon Picks Cdma For Telecom Rollout
Honest replied to Arun's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
^^^ And if they started to manufacture handsets and doesn't get enough sales for that than surely they will offer those handsets free with their T.V. Sets. Regards. -
^^^ My dear friends, I think the price of this handset should be less than 7000/-. I'm using LG KG300 dynamite series GSM handset. I got this phone for Rs.7500/- with 500 mb memory card. Its specifications are : 2 MP Camera, FM with recording, MP3 Player, Bluetooth enabled, External memory slot, Inbuilt Pen Drive of 56 MB. So with 1.3 MP camera in CDMA this RD6600 would be available at less than 7000/-, I think. What's your say my dear friends ? Regards.

Mobile Internet, Edge+gprs Is Much More Faster Than Cdma
Honest replied to cmahendra's topic in Data services
@sachinrocks My dear friend Airtel and Vodafone both operators provide the facility of connecting the mobile as a mode to pc/laptop to surf the net for prepaid users. Don't know about the exact charges in Airtel. I think its. Rs.15/- per day for unlimited usage. But in Vodafone its too much costly. In Vodafone you have to activate the PREPAID PACK in your account. Than every month Rs.199/- will be deducted as advanced gprs rentals. No free usage offered in this Rs.199/-. You have to pay as per your usage. For every 10KB of data download you have to pay 0.05 paise. That means Rs.5/- per MB. Vodafone seems to be very costly. You can opt for Airtel Mobile Office. Regards. -
@Arun Thanks a lot my dear friend for keeping all of us away from these kind of stuffs. Also thanks to those members who reported this to the Administrators / Moderators. Regards.
-
^^^ Its great to hear that the operator had been slapped by a penalty of Rs.8000/-. The final decision went into the favour of the consumer. All other cell operators : ARE YOU LISTENING ? Regards.

@iceman My dear friend, I too from Mumbai city. Actually 7th Oct. was not suited to me because I have to be in Nasik on 7th. That's why I didn't given my name for this meet. But at the same time this kind of irresponsibility shown by the members is not expected by all of us my dear friend. We, here at Rimweb are not only members. We are like a family. And if any family member promises anything he / she must abide by it. I hope you got the answer my dear friend. By the way, your avataar is quite nice and naughty. Regards.
