My dear friends, finally I installed Windows 7 RC1 on my PC. Its working great....... Only one crash from the last 10 days and that too while playing Vice City (GTA) game. It gave me problem to install my HP Laserjet 1010 Series printer in the starting. Even my printer doesn't worked with Compatibility mode. Then I downloaded a utility from HP website, which detects your printer and install the drivers. After that only I was able to use my HP Laserjet 1010 series printer with windows 7. My HP Inkjet F4185 was automatically detected and installed immediately. Now, there's only one problem.....My Pinnacle TV Tuner Card is giving some problems......It gives Video output but Audio is not there.....I'm getting desperate for this......tried different settings but unable to get the Audio from my TV Tuner Card. In all its great. Thanks to Dhiraj brother and all other mates here for your feedback and support. Cheers !

Unitech to offload 26 pc to foreign partner in telecom arm 27 Jun, 2008, 1936 hrs IST, PTI NEW DELHI: Country's second largest real estate player Unitech Ltd today said it would dilute 26 per cent stake in its telecom arm to a strategic foreign partner, for which it is in discussion with a few telcos. "We are looking for a minority dilution of 26 per cent stake to a strategic foreign player in Unitech Wireless," Unitech Ltd Managing Director Sanjay Chandra told reporters. Unitech was one among the many unified licenses issued by the Department of Telecom earlier this year. Unitech Wireless, which has bagged a pan-India GSM license, has already got the crucial spectrum for five circles and the company is planning to roll out telecom services by the last quarter of the current financial year, he said. To fund the telecom operations, it is considering to raise debt up to Rs 8,000 crore in the next five years once the company starts services. "Raising Rs 8,000 crore is the peak amount. Once we finalise the partner and start services, we will look at raising the amount. We will also have vendor financing," Chandra said, adding that at a future date the company would spin off the telecom arm into a separate company. "Unitech Wireless is currently a subsidiary of the main company, but in the future we will see it as a separate company," Chandra said. The company would invest the money in purchase of telecom equipment and developing infrastructure, he added. "Currently, we are talking to three European and two Chinese firms for supplying telecom equipment," he said. When asked if the company would bid in the auctioning of 3G spectrum, Chandra replied in positive.

Airtel, RCOM most congested networks: TRAI 25 Aug, 2008, 1936 hrs IST, PTI Leading telecom service provider Bharti Airtel tops the list of most congested network followed by Reliance Communications, data from the TRAI revealed. TRAI today released the PoI (Point of Interconnection) report for April-June quarter, which said amongst the private service providers Bharti Airtel has the largest number of PoIs having congestion (56 PoIs as of June) followed by Reliance Communications (22 PoIs), Dishnet Wireless (21 PoIs as of March), Vodafone (19 PoIs of March) and Idea (19 PoIs). In order to ensure seamless interconnection, TRAI has been monitoring the level of congestion at the Point of Interconnection between various service providers on monthly basis. This parameter signifies the ease with which a customer of one network is able to communicate with a customer of another network. This parameter also reflects as to how effective is the interconnection between the two networks. The benchmark notified by TRAI in the Quality of Service (QoS) Regulation of July 2005 for this parameter should be less than 0.5 per cent. This means out of 200 calls between two operators only one call should face congestion problem. The PoI Congestion Report analysis shows that the performance of the Cellular Mobile Service Providers with respect to the congestion on PoIs has improved in June, 2008, as compared with the performance in March, 2008. The number of PoIs having congestion has decreased from 275 in March to 156 in June. Out of these 156 POIs, the level of congestion in 86 POIs is more than 5 per cent as compared to 141 PoIs in March. The circles/ states more affected due to PoI congestion are Bihar, Maharastra, Gujarat, Haryana, North Eastern states and Himachal Pradesh.

I too transferred two of numbers recently. One from Non-Sim to Non-Sim and the other from Sim (Ruim) to Non Sim handset.......I used HCC for both without having any problems. My original Sim is now Blank.
