Hi, i have been trying to send mms thru the new mms portal site but its still not activated. they say the service will be activated very soon but this msg. is there for many months, maybe a year now. it says 'Currently, MMS service through this portal is not supported for the kind of handset you are using ! This feature will be enabled soon.' kind of handset? huh?? i have lsp 350r, and an LG2130 now is my handset not compatible...this is nonsense! i can easily receive mms from other friends and family members. is there any other mms portal url that reliance is providing? also the url http://mms.relianceinfo.com/ gives error "This page is under Construction ! ! ! " pls help i want to send mms for ringtones. Thanks

oh thats not a very good news for me then. so is there ANY way of sendig mms to my handset so that i may transfer ringtones to my mobile.

Hi guys, i was just going to buy a reliance fixed wireless phone. am totally unaware of the reliability and stability of those 4 phones available on reliance site. the phones are LG LSP -350, LG LSI -110, LG LSP -340, LG LSP -400 all of em have the same features...but which one is the best..like converage and all. a quick response would be highly appreciated. am very satisfied with the new 350R unit. very clear sounds both ringtones and earpiece...soft buttons, good battery life, features...and its has 144Kbps max. speed whereas others r only 115Kbps. thats a big difference for those who r using the rconnect feature. only annoying thing is the call connect and disconnect alert...its very loud..if only i could lower the volume or completely switch it off.

thnx for the timely guidance vishal..btw i asked 2-3 ppl and everyone told me the same...to go for the 350 model. so i bought the 350R model but tell me 1 thing..isn't this the oldest model? and how about the latest LG LSP -400? as its the latest it might be more stable...what do u say? previously i had made my mind to go for the 110 model..as its very handy to use coz u can roam about while talking...others r with base unit...u'll have to carry the whole unit while ur walking. amtrag u r very correct...i just thorouly checked the features of every model and found 350R to be the best. btw which one of these was the first model? the oldest?

Hi all, sending ringtones, wallpapers etc through MMS is achieved...now i wanna know is it possible to some how send ringtones or wallpapers through SMS...coz theres very less space given for it 3 for SMS and 3 for MMS...so we should make full use of it thnx

Hi all, am fedup with my LG RD2130 (Moonlight set). since i brought it for my postpaid connection it has been giving be toubles using the r world feature. at first when when i brought it then within 1 month r world stopped working. what happens is that r world menu will load but 98% of the features give a 'R world not ready' error when it comes to realy using a feature. so i conatced Reliance and they said that u should contact Lg authorised servce center. so i did. they updated my s/w and then voila it started woring again! but this was only the beginning. after another 20 days it again started giving me the same problem. i again went to the lg service center and got the s/w overwritten again(note: not upgraded!). then again after a week or so it gave me the same problem and then again the whoile thing again, and now this is the 4th time its giving me the same problem. but this time when i took it to the Lg service center they told me that they will overwrite the s/w only if I take the liability of its malfunctioning after its overwritting. they said that this is the 4th time its be done so theres a chance of its IC being BURNT UP!!(can this really happen?? ). so i took the risk and got it corrected again....but what the damn thing, in 4 days its giving me the SAME DAMN PROBLEM AGAIN!!!! am gonna get MAAAAAAD!!! i could have taken lg rd 2230 which DOES NOT support r world, but instead i gave another 1000 Rs. for getting this 2130 so that i can use the r world feature...but whats the use can somone tell me what should i do know? can the set be replace or its IC be repiared for free nad anyhting of that sort. in nut shell i want to make it working again without giving a SINGLE PENNY!!!( why should I!! )

oh ic...it means that, that one works just with GSM...hmm then its difficult... :-( but beetle theres a problem...we can't dl rings and walls thru R-World...remember its not allowed...may be only links from reliance can be usd to dl stuff off r world :'(

hey how does 8888 and similar services send ringtones through SMS? it means it IS possible....but how? :S

don't know that..but i queried through their customer care number and they said that u CAN'T download ringtones and wallpapers thru their WAP browser. thats sad!

oh ic...ok i h ope theres a way out for this method soon

Hi everyone, i was just wondering how ppl here get to know the exact pixels of wallpaper of different handsets here! like my handset is lg rd2130 and in a section theres given that its wallpaper size is not know...so how do i get to know it? so that i may send my own wallpapers on it. is there a way to forward the embedded wallpapers of the set to some email so that i can get to know its size and all? hi all, i used this software for sending MMS to my RIM for ringtones and pcture msgs using my cablenet. it was working fine. but today when am trying to send the mms using this software through my dialup account (netone,bsnl) then its giving error 550 invalid recipient. am really confused. can somone tell me whats goin behind all this,,,i mean all the technical matter. thnx
