Latched to r4g since 2 am in Nagpur. I have nil main balance and data balance. Connecting excellent to room website pages and room downloads. Others not loading. Speed test not finding server.

It appears that the ambanis are at fight again.......very few voice calls getting through on jio network since 4G tab and countdown timer removed from rcom.co.in

After reliance RIP we all are orphans without CDMA and Evdo. I have two activated bsnl cdma NIC sims. Voice is working fine and i am happy abt it. Data is not working. My handsets are omh sam galaxy pop, Verizon note 2, sprint cdma tab3 (data only no calling), sam gal s4 mini. Sms sent by cc for internet setting are not reaching me, all othere sms are. Is it that NIC (network interface card) does not work on handsets? Only on connection to pc?

No network in sim based reliance cdma phones since last one hour in Nagpur Maharashtra. But the news is that, surprisingly, nv only (without sim/ruim, sprint galaxy s3 and usc note2) phones are showing network also receiving and sending some(not all) calls through. Also enough data transfer to open banking sites, though slow.

In 4g you dont get a 4g symbol or icon notification but the type of network you are logged in to. What you are getting is hspda+ i.e. @42mbps.

Rcom can loose money but cant loose customers. Cdma is not closing. Those who have not opted for upgrade will continue to enjoy voice and data as earlier and will be able to upgrade later. Dont ask me who said that..........i repeat........Rcom can loose money but cant loose customers.

Is it a rumor that cdma voice and data have been shut down in panjab and himachal?

popkalia, you will have to be very patient with kies. kies, when held up is actually analyzing your phone status by sending data to the samsung update services and waiting to receive the appropriate installation configuration for the given situation of your device. i can not state how much time it will take but will surely resolve your issues. By the way a huge (downloaded only 14% in 20 min over bsnl broadband)update for kies is available today. Try it.

Upgrade through updated kies. It has all the options of handling failed upgrades.

i also have the same problem with my sprint s3 on 4.3 stock rom. it was there even when on 4.1.2 stock rom. i also have a uscellular note 2(R950) rooted, on 4.1.2 stock rom. i works great in the house with evdo speeds upto 1 mbps and shifts easily to 1x whenever needed. I have tried many times both the devices kept side by side, note 2 loads pages smoothly and quickly performs speed tests where as s3 takes far more time to load pages and takes long time to log on to speed test server. s3 also exhibits frequent switching between 1x and evdo. s3 provides great up and down speeds upto 2.8 mbps when in open. i have tried everything other than rooting. will rooting the device help???????

dial *228,,,,,1 (to insert commas , long press *) it should ask u to enter 9 digit pin if you phone is fully activated. if it says "your phone could not be acivated" your OTAF status is 4 which shoud be 3.

please efer to the image attached. It is usb connector for android devices. I can connect mouse, keyboard and even both at a time using a hub, to my usc note 2. I also connected three pendrives at a time using hub to my usc s3. I got it with my Aakash tab. Must be availble in the market.

yes..... it worked gr8 for me. i was suing mb1 and data working fine, without usc sim. upgraded to me2 (about 237mb and then about 48mb download packs, ota) and data was gone. Inserted USC sim and 1x data is back, evdo not activated yet.
