If you want to save your present number, it's better to give request for 4G upgrade... or you have another option to port out to other operators.. And yes if you upgrade, your cdma sim will be active till 4G gets activated...

No it does not mean 4G is activated. . It only means your migration request to 4G i.e.LTE is successfully placed ..

Though it takes 6 to 7 days to port to new operator but it does not mean that Your number will be off in these many days. .. only on 6th or 7th day for few hours Your services will be disrupted that too mostly in late night... till then your number will be active with old operator ..

That's correct ... but the people who have got 4G SIM n sent the upgrade sms, do they also need to do INP..?? Or new SIM will work with RGSM??

Here in hyderabad, for prepaid sim is free. only they are charging Rs.93/- as FRC and u get all above stated benefits on this existing cdma sim immediately...

today I heard from a tata docomo store person that even docomo cdma is also switching to 4G in few months.. can any one through light on this..like future of tata docomo cdma..??

Should the Speed drop to 1X (Rated: 230.4kbps), write to Netconnect.Broadband@relianceada.com with Cc to customercare@relianceada.com and EVDO (Rated: 3.6Mbps) will be restored within 48Hrs. Not sure whether the Speed-drop is "Intentional / Software-bug" at RCom! However, in Lifetime 1GB Data Plan, Account Balance can't be checked via SMS / My Services. As of now, only way to check balance is by contacting customer care! even I have noticed this reduction in speed after recharging with Rs.3001/- for life time validity.. Before this, I was getting EVDO speed.. will Reliance restore the speed after writing mail to above given addresses..?

thanks amit & kmc sir... i cleaned the port and updated the usb drivers......now i am able to charge it with laptop also... but another prob occurring now...my battery is draining very fast...within half day it is coming to 10% from 100% charging without any much usage... I checked battery profile in settings...there it is showing my phone is awake most of the time... any solution for this??

Hello all, I am using Galaxy S3 US cellular R530U model. From last couple of days I am facing strange problem. When I am connecting it for charging...it keeps connecting and disconnecting frequently. It will charge for say 1 minute then will stop charging.. I will be keep hearing disconnecting sound. I tried using different usb cables but getting same problem...due to which it is not able to get fully charged. It is taking more than 10 hrs to get 100 % battery charge. Kindly suggest any solution for this....Thanks!
